Expanded Operations: At the start of the season, The Guild strikes back in Operation Wall Breaker, introducing new challenges and rewards alongside the deadly Command Killer Glitch Fracture. In the Mid-Season, keep up the fight in Operation King Killer.

Operator Prestige: Achieve new milestones in Endgame with the introduction of Operator Prestige. Hit max Combat Rating and Prestige to unlock even more ways to build your playstyle, including an extra Exotic slot, extra Nightmare slot, and a fourth Skill Track!

New Skill Track, Two Abilities: Make mincemeat out of your foes with the addition of the Death Machine Major Ability. In the Mid-Season, get access to the new Guardian Skill Track and send targets over the edge with the Psych Grenade Minor Ability.

Act III: Operation Wall Breaker (Launch)

The Guild strikes back: a Command Node is preventing Karma’s virus from attacking their network. Scour Avalon for enough Mapping Data to locate the Node and take it down.

The push to infiltrate The Guild’s network has hit a snag, and unless Karma and her allies can find their way past the company firewall, their plans will have been in vain.

In Season 04, players must return to Avalon to find the weak link in Guild security, starting with the search for the region’s hidden network hub. Find it, breach the firewall, and gain the permissions needed to successfully access the command center node.

Once you’ve breached the command node, it’s time to crack The Guild’s operations wide open. Enter the ensuing Command Killer Glitch Fracture and complete the mission.

Defeat the Glitch Boss, Earn Rewards

Operators who progress through the steps in Act III will earn a bounty of in-game rewards, all while empowering your Operator for the challenges ahead. In the final phase, locate the Command Killer Glitch Fracture to battle through relentless waves of enemies in Nightmare Difficulty.

Defeat the Command Killer Glitch Boss with 50/50, Razor, or Faulkner to earn their unique “Shatter Shock” Operator Skins.

Act III Completion Rewards:

Introducing Operator Prestige (Launch)

Starting with Season 04, Endgame Operators with a maxed-out Combat Rating (CR) will gain the option to enter Operator Prestige 1, starting a whole new leveling journey in exchange for greater power. Entering Prestige discards all equipped Skills, resets the Operator’s CR, discards equipped Field Acquisitions, and resets Loadout weapons to their base rarity.

From this fresh state, redeploy to Avalon and start upping your CR again. With each Prestige, your Operator will earn access to additional skillsets, including:

Prestige 1: Extra Exotic Skill Slot

Prestige 2: Extra Nightmare Skill Slot

Prestige 3: Equip a 4th Skill Track

Guardian Skill Track, Two New Abilities

At launch, unleash fury on your enemies as the devastating Death Machine joins the list of available Major Abilities. In the Mid-Season, keep your armor and ammo stocked with the new Guardian Skill Track and send foes into a psychotic spiral with the addition of the Psych Grenade Minor Ability.

Skill Track: Guardian (Mid-Season)

Stand your ground and turn pressure into power. The Guardian skill track makes you a frontline anchor, shrugging off damage, punishing attackers, and sustaining both yourself and your squad. With stronger defenses, better resource drops, and proximity-based revives, Guardians do not just survive the fight, they control it.

Payback: Enemies that damage the player receive damage themselves.

Battle Cache: Increased chance to spawn an Ammo/Armor Resupply pack when eliminating an enemy.

Power Tap: Picking up Ammo/Armor Resupply packs also grants Equipment recharge.

Fortified: Reduce incoming damage for every currently equipped plate. The more plates equipped, the bigger the damage reduction.

Iron Grip: Reduce hip fire bullet spread and reduce flinch when getting hit.

Rescue Pulse: If allies are downed, the player can revive them just by being near them. If the player goes down, other players can revive them just by being nearby.

New Major Ability: Death Machine (Launch)

Deadly machine gun. High damage per shot and large magazine capacity.

New Minor Ability: Psych Grenade (Mid-Season)

Explodes on impact, releasing a lingering cloud of hallucinogenic gas that brain-rots enemies.

Endgame's free-to-play period will extend to the end of Season 05, so bring your friends and jump into all the new content waiting for you in Avalon! If you haven't tried Endgame yet, now's the perfect time to start earning all the Weapon Camos, Operator Skins, and additional rewards the mode has to offer.

Black Ops 7: Multiplayer Content

MULTIPLAYER CONTENT SUMMARY

Multiplayer Maps: At launch, descend into a Guild procedure where the patient’s unstable mind reshapes the map in Liminal, battle within a Japanese game show in Primetime, and watch your step on the remastered Vertigo. In the Mid-Season, play through a map of traps in the new Zenith and activate a rocket on the remastered Launch.

Multiplayer Modes: Wind back the clock with Black Ops Classic, wield sleek weapons in Blueprint Gun Game, and adapt to your given Loadout in 6v6 Gunfight. Later in the season, cycle through weapons in Team Blueprint Sharpshooter and ditch the ranged weapons in Knife Fight.

Additional Loadout Content: Drop deadly munitions over their heads with the new Iron Rain Scorestreak, a high-altitude, player-controlled aircraft providing a bird’s-eye view of the battle. Upgrade it further with the Active Camo or Tactical Radar Overclocks.

Black Ops 7 Ranked Play: Get wins and climb the Ranks in the next season of Multiplayer Ranked Play, featuring a completely overhauled transparent Skill Rating system where every point of SR earned and lost is clearly explained in the post-match summary.

Multiplayer Maps

Liminal (Launch)

Brand-New, 6v6/2v2, Small-Sized

Descend into a live Guild procedure mid-test, where the patient’s response to the experiment actively rewrites the center of the map. When the subject is calm, a red pillar stands intact on a raised platform; when agitation spikes, it fractures and slams into a crater, throwing up fresh cover and new angles around the impact zone.

When the subject accepts the procedure, the space shifts into a “nature” state, with organic growth reclaiming the central structure and subtly reshaping lanes and sightlines. Corridors feed the core from both sides, cutting past elevators on one flank and offices on the other, keeping rotations tight and fights constant as the room changes under pressure.

For a deeper dive, head here for the interactive Liminal Tac-Map Guide.

Primetime (Launch)

Brand-New, 6v6, Medium-Sized

Let no obstacle stand in your way on Primetime, a new 6v6 Multiplayer map themed around a Japanese game show obstacle course. Battle over speed tracks, Wall Jump across bound pads, and rack up points on the board as Operators weave between supersized crates.

Make a splash across the Pool track running over the water, a catapult on either end providing quick access to the middle. To get out of the limelight, head to the close-quarters Backstage or head further out along the southern Cargo path running parallel to the course.

For a deeper dive, head here for the interactive Primetime Tac-Map Guide.

Vertigo (Launch)

Remaster, 6v6, Medium-Sized

First introduced in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Vertigo returns fully remastered and ready for action in Black Ops 7. The map features a new Japanese setting, though the layout will be familiar to veterans of the original.

Watch your balance as the wind whips by atop the massive skyscraper, newly refurbished as Guild property. A steep drop-off awaits careless Operators fighting along the outer perimeter amongst the Vents, Utility and Storage sheds, and alongside the Helipad. For sturdier ground, head to the inner walkway connected to the East and West Wing, which funnel players into a tight space with guardrails to keep you from plummeting to your demise.

For a deeper dive, head here for the interactive Vertigo Tac-Map Guide.

Zenith (Mid-Season)

Brand-New, 6v6/2v2, Medium-Sized

Breach a luxurious cliffside abode in Zenith, a waterfall in the distance and pristine lighting guiding you through the immaculate grounds. Battle inside the building, marveling at the bleeding edge tech and expensive artwork, and check for details on the site intrusion in the Security room.

For a sneakier approach, traverse the running water below, accessible from the outside and from a secret entrance via the inner Office. Take a good look at the bookshelf to discover the trigger mechanism.

Launch (Mid-Season)

Remastered, 6v6, Medium-Sized

The Launch map first introduced in the original Call of Duty: Black Ops returns!

Deploy to this mid-sized map and fight the enemy team across the industrial facility, including the Fuel Yard, Loading, and the Launch Pad itself. Climb the stairwells to battle around the blast shield or fight below the rocket’s thrusters… just not when it’s taking off.

Multiplayer Modes

Black Ops Classic (Launch)

New Mode (Moshpit)

Wind back the clock in Black Ops Classic, a new throwback mode inspired by classic Black Opsgameplay. With simplified movement and streamlined Loadouts, this mode focuses on tactical positioning and classic multiplayer fundamentals built on the modern foundation of Black Ops 7. Jump into iconic throwback maps and core modes including Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint and Kill Confirmed.

Restrictions: No Overclock Abilities. No Perk Combat Specialty bonus.

Limited Selection: Scorestreaks, Perks, Lethal, Tactical, Wildcards, Melee Weapon, Field Upgrades.

Blueprint Gun Game (Launch)

Returning Mode

Every plan needs a good outline. Blueprint Gun Game returns for its Black Ops 7 debut, challenging players to advance through a lineup of Weapon Blueprints. There are no Scorestreaks or Loadouts involved here, just plain old gun skill. Eliminate players with your weapons to advance to the next weapon.

The first player to earn an elimination with every weapon wins. Eliminate enemies with a melee attack to set them back one weapon in the rotation, and use the intel provided by the persistent UAV to track down your next target.

6v6 Gunfight (In-Season)

Returning Mode

Get ready to up the ante as Gunfight returns with a 6v6 spin. Players begin each round with the same pre-determined Loadout that changes every two rounds. Health regeneration and respawns are disabled, so make your shots count. If neither team is wiped out in the specified time, the Overtime Flag will spawn; capture it to secure the round win.

Team Blueprint Sharpshooter (Mid-Season)

Returning Mode

Grab your squad and drop into Team Blueprint Sharpshooter, the 6v6 Multiplayer mode where Weapon Blueprints rotate every few seconds. Each weapon cycle swaps to the same new weapon for every Operator, testing your ability to adapt fast, fight hard, and push for victory.

Knife Fight (Mid-Season)

Returning Mode

This time it’s personal. Ditch the ranged weapons in this melee-only take on the fan-favorite Gunfight mode that forces Operators into intense, close-quarters fights.

Additional Loadout Content

Make your move from above. Call in the new Iron Rain Scorestreak to rise high above the field of battle, raining deadly munitions on the enemy team.

New Scorestreak

Scorestreak: Iron Rain (In-Season)

Weekly Challenge Reward

Score: 825

Mastery Badges: Yes

A high-altitude, player-controlled aircraft that provides a bird’s-eye view of the battlefield, allowing tracking and eliminating enemies from above.

Enjoy a birds-eye view of the action below while using this new medium cost Scorestreak designed to pummel enemy forces from above. When called in by the enemy, reach for your Launcher or run for cover.

Overclock Abilities

Active Camo: Keeps aircraft hidden. Attacking or taking damage temporarily breaks camouflage.

Tactical Radar: Reveals and pings nearby enemies to allies. Grants bonus score when marked enemies are eliminated.

Season 04 Multiplayer Ranked Play

Season 04 Ranked Play Overview

Multiplayer Ranked Play gives players the ultimate competitive Call of Duty experience by offering the same settings, maps, modes, and weapon restrictions used by the Call of Duty® League™.

Earn career rewards throughout the lifespan of Black Ops 7 Ranked Play, including Rank Skins and Win Challenge rewards.

Ranking System Update

Black Ops 7 Ranked Play is getting clearer in Season 04. The SR (Skill Rating) System has been completely overhauled to remove hidden MMR and instead provide full transparency over every single point of earned or lost SR. In Season 04, your SR gains and losses are driven entirely by your visible Rank and your performance relative to the Rank and performance of other players in the match. Outperform players in your Rank or above you and you’ll continue to climb, but struggle to beat players at your Rank or below you and big SR gains will be harder to come by.

SR gains and losses are broken down in detail in the updated Ranked Play Post-Match Summary after each match, so you know exactly what moved the needle. Here are the major changes coming with this SR System overhaul in Season 04:

SR Gains after Wins

The following can be awarded after a Ranked Play win:

  • Base Win: Earn a flat +20 SR for every win, regardless of your current Rank.  Scoreboard Bonus: Finish among the top 4 players of the match to earn an SR bonus. The higher your Scoreboard position, the bigger the bonus.
  • Opponent Rank Adjustment: Receive an SR Adjustment based on the relative Rank of Opponents beaten compared with your current Rank:
    • Outperform opponents that are higher Rank than you and you’ll receive additional SR bonuses for beating better players.
    • However, get beaten by lower Ranked opponents and your SR total for the match will be reduced because you were outperformed by weaker opponents.
    • Additionally, outperforming lower Ranked opponents will reduce your SR total for the match because you were expected to perform better than the weaker opponents you beat.
    • To maximize your Opponent Rank adjustment and receive big SR gains: prove you belong to a higher Rank by outperforming opponents that are currently in your Rank or are higher Rank than you.
  • Underdog Team Bonus: Awarded if you beat a significantly higher-Ranked team, while a Favored Team Penalty is subtracted if the team you beat was lower Ranked.

SR Deductions after Losses:

The following SR deductions and adjustments occur after a Ranked Play loss:

  • Base Loss: -20 SR is deducted when losing a match in Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, or Diamond Ranks. This Base Loss amount increases for Crimson Rank and above so that players are required to consistently exceed expectations of their current Rank to continue to climb into the highest Ranks and the Top 250:
    • Crimson Rank: -30 SR per Loss
    • 10,000 SR+: -40 SR per Loss
    • 12,500 SR+: -50 SR per Loss
    • 15,000 SR+: -55 SR per Loss
    • 17,500 SR+: -60 SR per Loss
    • 20,000 SR+: -65 SR per Loss
  • Underdog Team Bonus: Your SR loss for the match is reduced if you lost to a significantly higher-Ranked team. Lose to a lower Ranked team and you’ll receive a bigger SR loss via the Favored Team Penalty.

Party Size Restriction Update

Back in Season 02, Black Ops 7 Ranked Play introduced Party Size Restrictions that limited players in Crimson and above to two-player parties. This was done to ensure that parties did not give players in the highest Ranks a competitive advantage. However, we’ve seen consistent feedback from players who feel like the current party rules are too restrictive and have impacted their ability to party up with friends in Ranked.

Season 04 changes the Ranked Play Party Size Restrictions. Crimson players will now be free to form up to four-player parties without size restrictions. Iridescent and Top 250 players will continue to be restricted to two-player parties to ensure that parties do not give players competing for the top Rank a competitive advantage.

Season 04 Ranked Play Rewards

Each season comes with its own seasonal rewards that that can only be earned throughout the duration of that season, including the following Weapon Blueprint, Large Decal, Calling Cards, and Weapon Camos:

  • Get 10 Wins: Pro Issue MPC-25 SMG Blueprint
  • Get 100 Wins: “Ranked Season 04 – 100 Wins” Large Decal
  • Reach Silver Rank: “Ranked Season 04 – Silver” Calling Card

Plus, get some much-needed combat assistance with the new Hellping Hound GobbleGum.

Survival Map: Nuked (Launch)

Take on the undead horde in Hell’s coziest cul-de-sac as the Nuked Survival map arrives in Season 04.

Battle enemies in the street between the iconic Yellow House and Green House. Far from their idyllic presentation in other forms of Nuketown, this neighborhood is tainted with corruption, and the denizens and their Rad-Hounds are anything but friendly.

Scour the map for upgrades: Perks, Pack-a-Punch, Mystery Box, the Arsenal, Wall Buys, and anything else you can get your hands on to climb the rounds in a confined location, extending from the cul-de-sac out to Trinity Ave. You might not get out alive, but you can at least take down as many undead as you can with you.

Survive as long as you can to earn the following rewards:

  • “Population: Just You” Animated Emblem and 1,000 XP (complete Round 10).
  • “Dead End” Weapon Charm and 2,500 XP (complete Round 25)
  • “Time Out” GobbleGum and 5,000 XP (complete Round 50)

Directed Mode: Totenreich (Launch)

Get extra guidance for the Main Quest on Totenreich as Season 04 brings Directed Mode to the map, delivering on-screen quest steps and a max round cap of 15.

Explore the ancient fishing village’s dark past under the shadow of giants while battling new enemies including the undead Viking warrior spirit known as the Necropincer, a trident wielding adversary with a giant crab claw in place of its left arm. Seek out the Jotunn Star Melee Wonder Weapon to meet the challenge head on; attack enemies with the mythical lantern to steal their souls generating power to cast death-dealing fireballs between strikes with the barbed iron chain.

Players who complete Totenreich on Directed Mode will earn the “Dead Man’s Drip” Operator Skin for Weaver, “Totenreich Directed Mode Completion” Calling Card, and 5,000 XP.

For more guidance, pull up our free and official Totenreich Tac Map while exploring the ancient fishing village in Directed Mode, displaying a detailed map showing the locations of the map’s major points of interest, Pack-a-Punch, Wall Buys, Ammo, Perks, Traps, and more.

Starting Room: Totenreich (Launch)

Make your stand in Eidskallen Landing as Starting Room: Totenreich arrives in Season 04. In Starting Room, all pathways out of the starting area are locked, forcing you to make the most out of the space and resources available to you. With no way out of this old fishing village, it’s time to set the bait and take down as many as you can before a cold death overtakes you. Use the following map items to aid in your pursuit:

Totenreich: Mystery Box, Wallbuy (Coda 9), Ammo Cache, Quick Revive, Rampage Inducer, GobbleGum Machine

Survive as long as you can to earn the following rewards:

  • “Flavor Hex” GobbleGum and 1,000 XP (reach Round 10)
  • “Cold Reel” Calling Card and 2,500 XP (reach Round 25)
  • “Aether Fisher” Calling Card and 5,000 XP (reach Round 50)

New Permanent Mode: Rogue Run (Launch)

Drop into a whole new Zombies experience with Rogue Run! This fast-moving roguelite twist on Round-Based Zombies features randomized reward paths, permanent in-mode upgrades, and increasing levels of challenge through five different playlist selections each with their own rewards.

Shape Your Path

At the start, begin with a randomly selected Common Rarity Pistol and infinite ammo. The zombies come fast and hard in this mode, so be prepared for a fight. Make it to the end of the round and choose your reward.

Build Your Loadout: After clearing each round, teleport to an area with three different rewards, each presented on a pedestal. Each pedestal draws from a different pool — utility upgrades, weapons, Perks, Field Upgrades, Ammo Mods, and more. Primary Weapons have infinite ammo but Wonder Weapons and Underbarrels do not.

Claim your reward within the allotted time or it will be chosen for you, then off to the next arena.

Earn Permanent Upgrades: Complete playlist challenges to gain permanent in-match benefits and stronger pedestal reward choices to aid you in future runs. These challenges often require hunting down powerful HVTs.

Included in the possible rewards are permanent Rogue Run upgrades, such as starting with a higher rarity Pistol, or getting access to Wonder Weapons. These upgrades affect subsequent matches in every playlist within Rogue Run, making it worthwhile to progress in each one.

The Rogue Run playlists are as follows:

Target: Luci

Summons volatile attackers that disrupt the fight. Stay mobile or get overwhelmed.

Rewards:

  • “Who’s Keeping Score?” GobbleGum and 1,000 XP (complete Round 5)

  • Aether Tools Rogue Run Reward Feature and 5,000 XP (defeat Luci)

Target: Mal

Drains nearby zombies and resists standard damage. Use elemental damage to turn the horde against it.

Rewards:

  • “Arsenal Accelerator” GobbleGum and 1,000 XP (complete Round 5)
  • Permanent 4th Rogue Run Reward Feature and 2,500 XP (complete Round 15)
  • “Hidden Power” GobbleGum and 5,000 XP (defeat Mal)

  • Augments Rogue Run Reward Feature and 5,000 XP (defeat Mo)

Target: All Targets

Luci, Mal, and Mo. One run. Good luck. They appear in rounds 20, 30, and 40.

Rewards:

  • “Modified Chaos” GobbleGum and 10,000 XP (defeat 1 HVT in a single run)
  • “Perkaholic” GobbleGum and 20,000 XP (defeat 2 HVTs in a single run)
  • “Ray to Play” Calling Card and 30,000 XP (defeat all HVTs in a single run)

Target: Endurance

Push as far as you can. Every round gets harder, so build smart and survive for as long as possible.

Fortune’s Keep Refresh (Launch)

It’s the Fortune’s Keep you know and love, now playable like never before. Revisit your favorite haunts and explore new points of interests with enhanced movement and fresh features that bring a new depth to gameplay. For new and returning players, here’s a review of the major points of interest on the map, followed by a closer look at three updated micro POIs found throughout the island.

The Major POIs

Terraces

Surrounded by high walls and buildings, the Terraces are a well-fortified POI with access points out to the northern shore and toward the adjacent Keep. Stay on the move and avoid the central fountain, a focal point for all the surrounding vantage points around it. Use the stairs and vine trellises located all over the area to gain some elevation.

Keep

Prepare for a variety of engagement types across the Keep; although the structure is large, its sheer number of corridors and rooms turn a long-distance fight into a short one in seconds. The POI extends to the Keep’s outer walls, so check every corner while approaching the sprawling compound, and use all available intel to track enemy movement within.

Gatehouse

The Gatehouse is the entrance to the Keep’s primary grounds and sits directly in the center of the island. Surrounded by several other major POIs, it’s a difficult area to control, though the reward is worth the risk if you’re ready for constant engagements around it. Note the nearby sewer entrance for a concealed flanking path, and the Ascender giving access to the top of the Gatehouse battlements.

Bay

Positioned along the eastern shore, the once peaceful Bay is home to beachfronts, cliffsides, and the new Sea Science Aquatic Laboratory. Use the Bay’s lowered elevation to keep out sight from the main roads, and as a reliable access point for watercraft with helipad right next to the boat launch. Don’t miss the cliff tunnels up the dirt path, providing a stealthy approach toward the Keep.

Winery

Taking up a significant portion of the island’s east end, the Winery is often contested, whether fighting within the center courtyard or sending out suppressive fire around its perimeter. Note that there are several points of access down into the basement below, a haven from the action above, though be prepared for close-quarters combat should an enemy follow you there.

Pier

Like the Bay POI, the Pier offers a respite from the main action of the island, but that hardly makes it a light walk along the beach. Expect to encounter vehicles traversing the Pier as it is also near a major crossroad. Use the dotted beach terrain and scenery, as well as the cliffside, to escape from tough fights and get into a better position for the counterattack.

Lighthouse

Check for snipers when approaching the Lighthouse, an Ascender giving access to its upper platform with views over a significant portion of the surrounding area. The shoreline here is extremely dangerous, with little cover against attacks from above. Instead, consider exploring behind the Lighthouse when traversing the nearby grounds, full of cover points with a tunnel into the cliffside and zipline toward Smuggler’s Cove.

Overlook

Overlook provides a powerful vantage point over the Town and its surrounding areas. The section closest to Smuggler’s Cove features a high-end restaurant with a picturesque view of both the ocean and the eastern end of Fortune’s Keep, while farther up you’ll find a small village area including access to the tallest section of the cliff. Claiming this area offers great map control in the vicinity, so long as the gas hasn’t cleared the place out yet.

Town

Operators seeking close-quarters, urban combat should head into Town along the map’s western shore. A treasure trove a loot awaits within its tightly packed layout, so long as you’re prepared to engage enemies at a moment’s notice and often face to face. Its lower elevation makes the area susceptible to attacks from the outside, so be on the lookout for enemy forces when it’s time to exit the area.

Graveyard

There’s little cover here, but the tombs and outer walls do provide some cover in a pinch. There’s a steep drop off to the shore here, so beware of enemy squads attempting a flanking attack from the west. Within the Graveyard, look for the easternmost sepulcher providing access to a belowground passageway. If you prefer a clear view, climb the stairs to the top of the nearby round tower.

Grotto

Get way below the action in the Grotto, positioned at the base of the cliffs with access to several cave systems leading to other parts of the map like the Lighthouse and the Graveyard. Getting to these cave systems requires landing safely and fighting any enemy squads within the Grotto or directly above on the surface.

Smuggler’s Cove

Secluded from the main island, Smuggler’s Cove upholds its reputation for stockpiling illegally sourced cargo within the deep-sea caves. The shallow waters somewhat limit mobility, so seek out an elevated position when possible. For a quick escape, back up into the cave systems of the nearby Grotto or use the area’s system of ladders, walkways, and Ascenders to reclaim the high ground.

Research Vessel

This pontoon-style watercraft circles the shoreline of Fortune’s Keep in the opening minutes of the match before eventually dropping anchor. The multi-level POI is equipped with a Buy Station, Ammo Cache, UAV Tower, and a limited use POI wide gas decontamination system. It’s the only POI on Fortune’s Keep that maintains a UAV Tower which makes it an incredibly desirable location for tracking enemy movement. When inland, watch for snipers firing from the deck.

Micro POI Updates

Sea Science Aquatic Laboratory

Head to the Bay POI to visit Sea Science Aquatic Laboratory located right on the boat launch. The two-story building features the latest in marine research, though in the midst of battle, keep your eyes peeled for enemies making their way into the main structure. With a staircase on either side and an assortment of tightly packed rooms, combat can erupt at any moment. For a simpler cover point, move into one of the smaller research center outbuildings, one positioned on the water by the boat launch ramp and the other above the main building for a more elevated vantage point.

Capt. Bubby’s Chum Haus

Between the Pier and Lighthouse now stands the fast-food restaurant, Capt. Bubby’s Chum Haus. Stop in for some grub straight from the shoreline, from Bubby’s Up-Chunk Chowder to Smothered Seagull Cutlet. The one-story building marks a strong cover point in the area.

Fire out the windows on enemy targets in the surrounding lot or get behind the service counter for defending against enemies attempting to breach the building.

Smuggler HQ

Positioned right near the opening of the Grotto near the Gatehouse, the Smuggler HQ offers a valuable looting and cover point positioned right in the center of the map. Use the cluster of buildings and shipping containers to get out of sight from the main roads, resupply, and ambush unsuspecting passersby. The centrally located POI offers a great pivot point toward other areas of the map, whether your squad’s planning an attack toward the northern Keep or elsewhere on the island.

New Modes and Weekend LTMS (Launch, Mid-Season)

Clash (Launch)

52v52, Verdansk, Returning

Prepare for a largescale team skirmish in the 52v52 Clash Mode, with the battle location taking place in one of nine POIs within Verdansk, including the returning POIs Farm, Promenade East, Quarry, and Boneyard plus five new Clash zones in Airport, Signal Station, Launch Pad, Port, and Factory.

The first team to reach the point limit — or whoever has the highest point total when the match timer runs out — wins the game, with points being allocated as such:

  • Earn 1 point per elimination.
  • Earn 10 points per completed Contract.
  • Earn 20 points per each bonus crate capture.
  • Earn 40 points per each Domination point capture.

Get the advantage any way you can, from seeking out vehicles including the new LTV mid-sized truck equipped with a turret, completing Contracts for points and in-match rewards, and building up your cash reserves for Buy Station purchases like the Death Machine, D.A.W.G., and, when it’s time to bring in the big guns, the VTOL Warship. Work with your squad and the greater team to push the fight, capture Domination points, and grind the enemy forces into the dirt.

New Gameplay Features (Launch, Mid-Season)

Black Market access, an Advanced Self Revive, and the return of Champion’s Quest in the Mid-Season. Season 04 brings new tactics and challenges to Call of Duty: Warzone, including the following:

Shadowlink Contract (Launch)

Launching exclusively within Fortune’s Keep, the Shadowlink Contract provides Operators with a satellite phone providing access to an arms supplier on the Black Market. Call in anywhere to purchase the goods in store, a kind of Buy Station on the move. Not satisfied with the offerings? Upgrade the Shadowlink further by completing various tasks, granting access to even more impactful and deadly items.

Advanced Self Revive (Launch)

Arriving only in Resurgence at the launch of Season 04, the Advanced Self Revive is a rare new item that temporarily grants active camo cloaking effects when activated. Get back on your feet and behind cover before the effect wears off, then reposition and gear up for the next fight.

Champion’s Quest (Mid-Season)

The Champion’s Quest returns for the most elite players on both Avalon and Verdansk. Within Core Battle Royale, win five consecutive Battle Royale matches or 30 in total throughout a single season to gain access to the Champion’s Contract, a difficult four-phase mission that when first completed awards a Weapon Camo and Legendary Operator Skin for all in the squad who participate, with further rewards earned for additional Champion’s Quest completions, including:

  • Get 1 Champion’s Quest (CQ) Win: Weapon Camo, Legendary Operator Skin
  • Get 2 CQ Wins: Legendary Emblem
  • Get 3 CQ Wins: Weapon Camo
  • Get 4 CQ Wins: Legendary Spray
  • Get 5 CQ Wins: Weapon Camo
  • Get 7 CQ Wins: Legendary Melee Blueprint
  • Get 10 CQ Wins: Weapon Camo

Extract Elements: Rumor tells of another way into the Champion's Quest via found elements within matches. This Public Event has a chance of occurring within the match, alerting all Operators to an incoming element airdrop. The first player to interact with the dropped crates activates a special mission for their squad. Complete the steps before the match ends to earn a Champion's Quest Contract for the whole squad.

Stay tuned for more Champion’s Quest intel in the Season 04 Reloaded blog arriving just prior to the Mid-Season update.

Weapons Detail

Primary Weapon: KRS-7.62 (Launch)

Marksman Rifle, Battle Pass Page 3 HVT, Page 12 HVT Battle Pass Blueprint

Levels: 38

MAGS: 3

MAG SIZE: 10

Mastery Badges: Yes

Attachments: Optic, Muzzle, Barrel, Underbarrel, Magazine, Rear Grip, Stock, Laser, Fire Mods

Customize Options: Blueprints, Camos and Reticle Unlocks (END, MP, ZM, WZ), Accessories (1), Decals (1), Stickers (3).

Semi-auto marksman rifle. High damage and great mobility, limited by significant first shot recoil.

Strong and steady, the KRS-7.62 offers a reliable two hit elimination against unarmored enemies up to 25 meters out, an easy double tap when fighting up close with a third shot required for more distant targets. The weapon’s fast recentering speed makes it easy to stay on target for follow up shots, making this a great option combining accuracy and punch for a powerful contender across all modes.

A Weapons Matrix and Camo Tracker is available for this weapon here.

Prestige Attachment

Barrel > 15" MFS Incursion Barrel

Specialized barrel provides a significant improvement to bullet penetration damage, bullet velocity, and visual recoil stabilization. Blocks Fire Mods.

Camos Confirmed: Weapon Prestige > KRS-7.62

The Universal Weapon Prestige Camos for the KRS-7.62 (above): Prestige 1: “Pathways.” Prestige 2: “Garden.” Prestige Max: “Horde.”

Primary Weapon: CBRS-3 (Launch)

Levels: 36

MAGS: 3

MAG SIZE: 60

Mastery Badges: Yes

Attachments: Optic, Muzzle, Barrel, Underbarrel, Magazine, Rear Grip, Stock, Laser, Fire Mods

Customize Options: Blueprints, Camo and Reticle Unlocks (END, MP, ZM, WZ), Accessories (1), Decals (1), Stickers (3).

Full-auto submachine gun with a high capacity, rechambering magazine. Well-rounded with excellent range and recoil.

With 60 rounds in the base model, the CBRS-3 features the largest magazine in its weapon class, capable of reaching 75 rounds with the Redwell Sprocket Mag. This gives the SMG great sustaining power in larger fights, though keep in mind that the magazine requires some manual rotation throughout the firing process.

A Weapons Matrix and Camo Tracker is available for this weapon here.

Prestige Attachment

Magazine > MFS Carousel Fast Mag

Lightweight magazine containing 60 rounds that rechambers on its own to reduce the interruption to sustained fire. Improves reload speed and handling.

Camos Confirmed: Weapon Prestige > CBRS-3

The Universal Weapon Prestige Camos for the CBRS-3 (above): Prestige 1: “Spectrogram.” Prestige 2: “Fluid.” Prestige Max: “Chameleon.”

Secondary Weapon: Grimhawk (In-Season)

Special, Weekly Challenge Reward

Levels: 30

MAGS: 3

MAG SIZE: 25

Mastery Badges: Yes

Attachments: Optic, Barrel, Magazine

Customize Options: Blueprints, Camo Unlocks (END, MP, ZM, WZ), Accessories (1), Decals (1), Stickers (3).

Full-auto specialized rifle. Fires low-velocity homing rounds that lock onto targets.

Make the enemy pay for opening fire on your position with this Special Weapon that fires rounds with light homing capabilities against targets shooting their weapons. The Grimhawk’s low velocity rounds require some getting used to as the projectiles rapidly drop. Watch the curvature from the trace fire and adjust your aim accordingly, getting a little extra help when your target fires back.

Prestige Attachment

Barrel > Long Barrel

Modified barrel enabling homing behavior for rounds fired from hip at close range but sacrifices ADS homing functionality. Improves hipfire spread and movement speed.

Camos Confirmed: Weapon Prestige > Grimhawk

The Universal Weapon Prestige Camos for the Grimhawk (above): Prestige 1: “Bloom.” Prestige 2: “Dragon Dance.” Prestige Max: “Raindrop.”

Primary Weapon: VX Compact (In-Season)

Assault Rifle, Event Reward

Levels: 42

MAGS: 3

MAG SIZE: 25

Mastery Badges: Yes

Attachments: Optic, Muzzle, Barrel, Underbarrel, Magazine, Rear Grip, Stock, Laser, Fire Mods

Customize Options: Blueprints, Camos and Reticle Unlocks (END, MP, ZM, WZ), Accessories (1), Decals (1), Stickers (3).

Full-auto assault rifle. Best-in-class rate of fire and excellent handling, offset by lower range and ammo capacity.

What the VX Compact lacks in damage per shot it makes up for with a blistering fire rate. At 25 rounds in the base magazine, this weapon chews through its supply fast, though its manageable recoil and minimal muzzle flare makes tracking targets seamless. It’s well worth getting some practice under your belt; once you’ve unlocked the Fast Mag Prestige Attachment, you’ll be mowing down targets with little downtime. Just watch that ammo count.

Prestige Attachment

Magazine > MFS Impetus Fast Mag

Extended magazine that auto-ejects to achieve the fastest possible reload speed and improves bullet deviation and recoil stabilization.

Camos Confirmed: Weapon Prestige > VX Compact

The Universal Weapon Prestige Camos for the VX Compact (above): Prestige 1: “Vacation.” Prestige 2: “Well-Worn.” Prestige Max: “Unseen Eyes.”

Customize Options: Blueprints

Melee weapon. High damage, short range, and very fast attack speed.

Camos Confirmed: Weapon Prestige > Executioner’s Duet

The Universal Weapon Prestige Camos for the Executioner’s Duet (above): Prestige 1: “Labyrinth.” Prestige 2: “Pop.” Prestige Max: “Radiance.”

Primary Weapon: AN-94 (Mid-Season)

Assault Rifle, Event Reward

Levels: 42

MAGS: 3

MAG SIZE: 30

Mastery Badges: Yes

Attachments: Optic, Muzzle, Barrel, Underbarrel, Magazine, Rear Grip, Stock, Laser, Fire Mods

Customize Options: Blueprints, Camo Unlocks (MP, ZM, WZ), Accessories (1), Decals (1), Stickers (3).

Fully automatic assault rifle. First two rounds fire at a faster rate. Slower handling and mobility.

Veterans of the series will immediately recognize this classic weapon featuring a burst mechanism in which the first two shots of every trigger pull fire at a much faster rate compared to subsequent shots. Toggle the weapon’s firing mode to switch between full auto and a variant of semi-auto featuring the rapid double shot with every attack. Whichever firing mode you choose, hitting your target with the initial burst is crucial to downing foes fast, so take aim and hit the mark.

A Weapons Matrix and Camo Tracker is available for this weapon here.

The Call of Duty Shop Ranked Play T-Shirt Program

Display your competitive prowess in and out of the game as the Call of Duty Shop launched its Ranked Play T-shirt program in Season 04!

Connect your in-game accolades with real world merch as T-shirts representing different Ranked Play tiers become available for purchase. Open to both Black Ops 7 and Resurgence Ranked Play participants, each shirt will initially be listed at a high price and unavailable for purchase with an important caveat: Players who finish the season in an eligible rank — Gold through Iridescent — will receive a one-time-use Call of Duty Shop code that unlocks the standard price for the shirt. Because this is a pilot program to test the feature, there will not be shirts available for the Top 250 at this time.

Climb that ladder, outplay the competition, and show off your skills wherever you are. Stay tuned to the Call of Duty Shop for more info throughout the season.
