Deploy to a Guild owned megastructure high above Japan’s skyline in Vertigo, fully remastered and given a new setting since the map’s introduction in Black Ops 2.
Put your Omnimovement skills to the test around the perimeter of the map where mere panes of glass separate Operators from solid ground and a steep plummet. Weave your way toward the center to battle in the main section of the facility where a large drone is displayed over the chasm. With branching paths on all sides and plentiful verticality to explore, this is a tactician’s dream, so long as you don’t stray too far from sturdy ground.
1. Cold target: Vertigo is dangerous enough to navigate as is without the additional worry of enemy Scorestreaks firing down on your position. The skies are wide open here, so if you’re getting peppered by aerial attacks and other non-player targeting systems, consider Cold Blooded to lower your profile and hit back with a Launcher when needed.
2. Emergency exit: Don’t miss the ladder hanging just outside the main building’s north window. Jump through the glass and quickly climb up to get out of sight when the middle gets too hot. You can drop back in to rejoin the fight or get into position on the ledge opposite the ladder, a good ambush spot against enemies following you or passing by on the rooftop.
3. New arrivals: The stairs leading down to the Helipad entrance dip below the main level of the roof. Cut through here for a more concealed route along the bottom lane and watch the area for enemy Operators doing the same when approaching from the sides.
