The Gora and Karst Rivers are mostly a transitionary area, save for their Flood Gates, which can be a great place to take cover. Just be careful about climbing the ladders out of here; if you are planning on doing so, it may be wise to pack a pistol along for self-defense.
Because some apartment buildings within the Barakett Promenade look the same, your squadmates may be confused if you tell them you are “in an apartment.” So, it may be good to ping the exact area you are in or use the compass or surrounding points of interest as guideposts.
Unsure of where to start scavenging within the Verdansk Graveyard area? The nearby Pharmacy, Bank, and Police Station be a reliable stop during your campaign for an end game loadout. It’s not a bad idea to land here first, then spread out to the rest of the area.
Craving some close-quarters combat? Coax the enemy team to meet you in the Training Course, which is cluttered and complex for being such a small footprint in Verdansk as it references a classic Call of Duty map. Just watch out for any operators who may be refereeing from the watchtower.
It is possible to reach the top of every crane in Port, although it requires some parachuting. If you do, you’ll be rewarded with one incredible 360-degree sightline that goes from across the Karst River all the way to the Gulag.
The individual buildings within Summit offer great CQB opportunities, especially the familiar sights of the main Command and Control Center. However, snipers and long-range weaponry can rule the spaces between buildings… Just watch your step, lest you fall into the gorge below!
Travelling across the Military Base, especially when hopping from hangar to hangar, might be a daunting task on foot. Given how little cover there is on the roads and runway, using a vehicle around here isn’t a bad idea, and in some cases, you might just find one lying around on the base.
This area may be one of the most unique within Verdansk, but don’t feel overwhelmed: there are plenty of familiar buildings, such as police stations, fire stations, pharmacies, and a video store, that can help ease you into fights in the big city.
The Javdinsk Missile Silo is at a high elevation point. Whether you take to the cliffside or dare to dart across the hatch itself, this place may be a good rest stop and scouting point before heading off into the Military Base or Riverside.
