If you can grab a helicopter after building a sniping loadout, you could parachute up to the tallest gondola in the Ferris Wheel, which provides incredible views of the Promenade, Downtown, Tavorsk Park and the Hospital. Just be sure to pack a Self-Revive Kit when taking a ride on the Ferris Wheel, because if you go down, your squad may not be able to reach you for a revive.
Because the Control Tower, Terminal, and Superstore could be hotly contested zones, it may be wise to forgo them when dropping in – if you see plenty of parachutes opening over them, that is – and aiming for something in the Airport Maintenance section, which has plenty of points of interest to explore.
Between Tavorsk Park and Downtown is Fire Station 12, a great spot to rotate to and from given views over these locations plus the Hospital, along with having a potential Buy Station spawn. Watch the tower for potential snipers, especially if the Cargo Truck that usually is parked here has gone missing.
If you parachute from the Superstore – especially from the pitched roof – you can land on top of the roof sections in the Parking Lot. Here, you could get some unique high ground against enemies within the lot or that are checking out of the Superstore.
Unsure of where to start scavenging within the Verdansk Graveyard area? The nearby Pharmacy, Bank, and Police Station be a reliable stop during your campaign for an end game loadout. It’s not a bad idea to land here first, then spread out to the rest of the area.
Whether its atop the Control Tower or the Viaduct, few vistas compare to what you’ll get atop the Gora Summit. Come here with the longest scope you have and look down below – and across Verdansk – for any enemies worth engaging with.
The Standoff Town Hall is notorious for being a combat magnet, especially if there is plenty of items here. Even in a rural location like Krovnik Farmland, beware of travelling to and from this familiar sight for Call of Duty veterans.
Although there are no buildings around it, the Lozoff Pond should be on your stop list when travelling through North Verdansk if a Buy Station spawns in. However, be careful of those shooting down from the nearby cliffs or from the bustling New Lozoff Village.
The hangars within the Arklov Peak Military Base – and by extension some Verdansk Airport hangars – are a lot larger than you think. Be prepared for long-range combat indoors, as these hangars were meant to fit planes that could almost hold the whole lobby.
