CODM Season 9 — Vampires vs Werewolves
The first ever community-voted season kicks off Halloween with a matchup between Vampires and Werewolves. Choose your faction and fight for dominance in the Fang Wars in-game event joined by Leader’s Kill Confirmed mode, player-voted Operator Skins and Weapon Blueprints in the new Battle Pass, the Grav Assault Rifle, and more! Season 9 arrives October 14.
Gear up for a season of chills and thrills with the upcoming release of Call of Duty®: Mobile Season 9, pitting Vampires vs Werewolves in an epic battle of control. Season 9 marks a huge milestone as the first community-voted season with players deciding on the theme and the design of Operator Skins and Weapon Blueprints in the Battle Pass, setting the stage for a truly haunted season of content.
Plus, experience a unique twist on classic gameplay with the new Leader’s Kill Confirmed Multiplayer game mode, earn rewards like the K9-Unit — Fantasma in new spooky events, wield the power of the Grav Assault Rifle, and more.

New Limited-Time Multiplayer Mode
Leader’s Kill Confirmed
In this twist on Kill Confirmed, a single player on each team is designated as the Leader, a mech-equipped Operator that is visible to both teams, creating constant pressure on their position. When taken out, the Leader drops a dog tag worth significantly more points and the Leader role is passed on to another player on the team.
Players will have to choose between protecting their Leader, hunting the enemy Leader, and collecting tags. To assist in the fight against the powerful Leaders, normal Operators will gain access to special abilities, enhancing their combat abilities over the course of the match.
Street Fighter Returns, Attack of the Undead, and More
Jump back into two exciting playlists based on prior collaborations as the game modes Shoryu and Hadoken, based on Street Fighter 6, and Honkai: Gleaming Front, based on Honkai Impact 3rd, return for a limited time in Season 9. For fans of Gleaming Front, keep an eye out for new improvements and small tweaks to the mode as it rolls into Season 9.
Steel your nerves for the incoming Attack of the Undead, featured on two maps: Haunted Hacienda and Haunted Standoff. You can also play both of those fan-favorite Halloween themed maps on their own, as they’ll have individual 24/7 playlists running during different points of the season.
New Seasonal Events
Call of the Dead
Celebrate Día de Muertos with the Call of the Dead event, tasking players to collect Howlbones for use in the Event Store. Get themed items like the Contact Grenade — Calaverita, Cluster Grenade — Pan de Muerto, plus a Weapon Charm, Emote, the Calling Card — Día de Muertos, and an assortment of Avatars, Sprays, Stickers, and a Frame.
Players who collect 100 Howlbones will automatically unlock the incredible K-9 Unit — Fantasma Operator Skill Skin. Release a pack of skeletal dogs against your foes, a fitting theme for the Halloween season and beyond.
Vampires vs Werewolves: Fang Wars
Choose your Faction: Vampires or Werewolves. Work with your team to complete missions and dominate the enemy faction, earning progress toward rewards including the faction-specific Weapon Blueprints SO-14 — Moonlit Marksman Rifle for the Vampires and the Type 25 — Lone Wolf Assault Rifle for the Werewolves.
All other milestone rewards are earnable by players in both factions, including the Purifier — Deadly Nightshade Operator Skill Skin, Type 19 — Petal Pattern Assault Rifle Blueprint, the Swagger Strongbox, and more.
Regardless of the outcome, both factions will earn the Calling Card — Vampire Victory and the Calling Card — Werewolves Victory Calling Cards. The winning faction will earn a Gold version of their team’s Calling Card to display their dominance for everyone to see.
Vampires vs Werewolves Battle Pass: New Weapon
The Vampires vs Werewolves Battle Pass features free and premium in-game content including new Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Calling Cards, and additional Call of Duty® Points to spend on your next Premium Pass or Store purchase.
Battle Pass Free Tiers
Excel in ranged engagement with the powerful Grav Assault Rifle, featuring a high bullet velocity that shreds distant targets. Other free tier rewards include additional cosmetics including weapon charms, calling cards, stickers, and new camos.
Premium Pass Tiers
For the first time, the Premium Battle Pass Tiers features Operator Skin and Weapon Blueprint designs that were voted on by players, including the Operator Skins Minotaur — Pack Commander werewolf design winner and the Sparrowhawk — Moonlight Vengeance vampire design winner, plus the CX9 — Wolven Moonrise SMG and 3-Line Rifle — Cantus Rubra Sniper Rifle Weapon Blueprints.
Other Premium Tier Skins and Blueprints include Artery — The Hunter, Calisto — The Witch, the MG82 — Bloodsucker’s Ban LMG Blueprint, the Grav — Solstice Herald based on the new Season 9 weapon, and more.
Battle Pass Subscription: Enlist with the Ground Forces by purchasing a Battle Pass Subscription, granting additional monthly rewards along with a 10% boost to Player and Weapon XP, discount coupons, and limited discounts on 10x crate pulls.
The Season 9 Ground Forces will receive the Marakov — Urban Makarov Operator Skin, R9-0 — Hellborne Hybrid Weapon Blueprint, and Backpack — Hybrid Howl.
Season 9 Challenge Pass
Head to the Challenge HQ and complete Daily and Weekly tasks to progress through the Season 9 Challenge Pass. Earn tokens to spend on seasonal rewards including the new Weapon Blueprint QXR — Rose Requiem, Emote — Showoff, and more. For more intel on seasonal activities, select the Events tab in the main menu.
Download Seasonal Updates Ahead of Time
Starting in Season 9, players can now opt in to download seasonal update content ahead of time at your own convenience. Head to the in-game Download Manager to use the feature so you can minimize the time it takes to start playing after a new season launches.
