The Gora and Karst Rivers are mostly a transitionary area, save for their Flood Gates, which can be a great place to take cover. Just be careful about climbing the ladders out of here; if you are planning on doing so, it may be wise to pack a pistol along for self-defense.
Out of all the buildings in West Verdansk, few compare to the complexity of the Verdansk International Airport Terminal. Move through here as a group, and you won’t lose each other or get picked off by team with better synergy.
The Control Tower gives by far the best view of the entire airport, and even areas of North Verdansk, but it may not take long for other squads to catch onto a sniper up here. Worst case scenario: parachute away from the airport, as there are fewer points of interest there, which may translate to fewer enemies.
Getting up to the physical checkpoints at both ends of the Port can offer phenomenal 360-degree views of the surrounding area. Just be mindful that there is absolutely no cover up here.
The Stadium roof can only be accessible via parachute or helicopter and does not have any loot on it, but if you have a solid loadout, landing on this dome could give you an incredible 360-degree view of the surrounding area.
Caught in the Graveyard? Either use the hills, trees, and gravestones for cover, or head to the wooden shack for loot. Otherwise, the next plot within this yard may have your name on it.
The trio of Lumber Yard Warehouses is filled with loot but can be tricky to navigate. If you get lost, remember where the main open bridge is – towards the east – and make your way over there.
The parking garage is deceptively complicated for an area. From military tents to ground loot taking up parking spaces, it’s not a bad idea to explore every part of this lot or decide to land here against the more obvious Airport areas.
Although these homes aren’t built, they can still act as temporary shelter while exploring the Novi Grazna Hills. These homes also provide great views over to the Barakett Promenade, so consider climbing up to an unfinished roof or second floor to snipe or scout northwards.
The various structures in the Junkyard don’t have verticality, save for the Comms Tower. It can give you incredible sights over most of Verdank’s West side but will leave you with little cover... Be sure to coordinate with your teammates if you decide to take the climb up here.
