Old Verdansk Stadium is far more open to pitch invaders than the more modern version. Not only should you watch for those wandering around the field and the stands, but also snipers on the scoreboard and construction equipment, in addition to any vehicle that can easily drive onto the field.
The Gondolas over the gorge from the Northeast, East, West, and South move on fixed schedules, and can be great ways to travel across the area. However, because it moves at a fixed speed, their movement is easy to predict; should you want to snipe someone off them, remember to “lead your shot.”
Whether its atop the Control Tower or the Viaduct, few vistas compare to what you’ll get atop the Gora Summit. Come here with the longest scope you have and look down below – and across Verdansk – for any enemies worth engaging with.
The Old Abandoned Mine can be a great spot to set-up an ambush on those rotating from the Verdansk Airport, or going through – or above – the Gora Tunnel, especially if you climb up the Loading Tower. While you are here, be sure check the mine for items left behind by the miners…
The most obvious of the bunkers around Verdansk is the complex north of Bloc 18, which is nary a secret even to novice travelers. Still, some call this a “secret spot,” not because the bunkers are [[REDACTED]], but because this area tends to have a Buy Station, plenty of items, and sometimes even a Contract here for a great start to a Battle Royale.
Downtown Tavorsk District may have plenty of defined roads, but they are often cluttered and are flanked by skyscrapers. If you’re trying to drive – or fly – across the map, it may be wise to go around it, as you may run into less trouble.
While the Kart Racing Track can be a fun diversion from the Warzone, be sure to check its stands and the nearby warehouse for potential item spawns. You never know if Verdansk’s resident kart racing champion left their prize money lying around here.
Travelling out of Airport Maintenance or crossing the Gora Bridge? Double check the Hobo Carriage; it’s far away from more dense areas and could still have some leftover items inside… or even a Supply Box!
Those who remember the “current” Downtown will find the streets in 1984 to be a bit cleaner. While great for driving your own vehicles through the streets, note that the cleaner streets will offer less cover opportunities, leaving you potentially exposed to snipers on the rooftops.
Inside the Zordaya Prison Complex is an intricate network of cells. There is an abundance of Supply Boxes and other goodies inside, but it can be complicated to get in – and out – of the area. Make sure those pings and comms are on point before your squad ventures into here.
