(74 LOCATIONS)

This slice of Verdansk has the most structures of all, ranging from small suburban hamlets to immense urban apartment blocks and towers. Easily navigated, as the Central and South Sector is segmented by the Gora and Karst Rivers (west and east), this is also the Sector with a large number of landmarks. From the BCH TV Station to the north, to the Verdansk Soccer Arena just north of Downtown, and the maze of high-rise, cultural, and parliamentary structures in the main city, there’s a wealth of scavenging and enemy ambushing potential. The architecture is as rich as the pickings here. Finally, don’t overlook the coastal park; it offers a less congested method of maneuvering, and has its own hatch to visit!

Pro Tips

Cell Service

Tip #291

Cell Service

VERDANSK EAST ZONE 5E

Inside the Zordaya Prison Complex is an intricate network of cells. There is an abundance of Supply Boxes and other goodies inside, but it can be complicated to get in – and out – of the area. Make sure those pings and comms are on point before your squad ventures into here.

A Suburb is the True Heart of Verdansk

Tip #250

A Suburb is the True Heart of Verdansk

VERDANSK CENTRAL AND SOUTH ZONE 4B

Forget Downtown – Bloc 6 is closest major area to the absolute center of Verdansk. Therefore, circle collapses have a high probability of including this suburb in the first safe zone, so it’s best to learn this area just as much as Superstore and other popular drops!

Tickets Please!

Tip #223

Tickets Please!

VERDANSK SOUTHWEST ZONE 3A

Although the Ticket Hall has a beautiful ceiling, it’s also a potential hot spot, as action can spill in from the West and Main Platforms. If an engagement happens, use the information booth and the stairwell for cover.

Picking Up Scraps in the Scrapyard

Tip #215

Picking Up Scraps in the Scrapyard

VERDANSK WEST ZONE 2F

Scrapyard will be familiar ground for Call of Duty veterans, which may make it a hotly contested area if it is part of the safe area. Prepare for close quarters combat within the fuselages, warehouses, and office… And don’t forget to check the catwalk of Scrapyard Warehouse 3, one that’s been a notorious sniper perch for decades.

Don’t Get Starred Out on the Yard

Tip #290

Don’t Get Starred Out on the Yard

VERDANSK EAST ZONE 5E

The Zordaya Prison Complex Yard can hold valuable items and even vehicles, but the guard towers and wall can house enemy sharpshooters. Be cautious when wandering out onto the yard, lest you be sent to the Gulag.

Seek the Hide

Tip #186

Seek the Hide

VERDANSK NORTH ZONE 1D

The watchtower in the Foothills north of the Salt Mine has an incredible view of its northeastern section. If the collapse isn’t an issue and you like to snipe, consider finding it after you get a loadout that’s appropriate for extreme long-range combat.

Stroll Through Central Square Park

Tip #234

Stroll Through Central Square Park

VERDANSK SOUTHWEST ZONE 3C

Before the Barakett Market set up shop, Central Square Park offered lush open green spaces. This is great for taking a stroll, but not so much for taking cover; stick to the walls and head for landmarks within the park, such as the monument, to hide from enemies lurking in nearby buildings.

The Pain Train

Tip #232

The Pain Train

VERDANSK SOUTHWEST ZONE 3B

The Train that circles around West Verdansk has multiple tunnels in the Southwest corridor, with the tunnel through the Hospital Hills being most prominent. Check these out for potential item drops, and stick around to set up a trap on those riding the train around Verdansk.

Open the Flood Gates

Tip #271

Open the Flood Gates

VERDANSK CENTRAL AND SOUTH ZONE 4E

The Gora and Karst Rivers are mostly a transitionary area, save for their Flood Gates, which can be a great place to take cover. Just be careful about climbing the ladders out of here; if you are planning on doing so, it may be wise to pack a pistol along for self-defense.

Window of Opportunity

Tip #240

Window of Opportunity

VERDANSK SOUTHWEST ZONE 3D

Notice a room with a view? The Apartment Block near the Ferris Wheel is one of many areas around Verdansk that contains a new landing with a window. Use it to snipe out of the building more safely or get a sense of where enemies are before continuing a climb to the top.
