The entire eastern region of Verdansk is mainly given over to agricultural and lumber farming, as well as the main sea port. But journey further south through East Sector, and the formidable walls of the Zordaya Prison Complex loom into view.

Segmented by the main divided highway to the west, the mountains along the eastern perimeter, and partially bisected by the frozen Karst River, the East Sector of Verdansk contains both a variety of topography and settlement types. Begin in the north, close to the Karst River and its eponymous Quarry, and you encounter the relatively rural Bloc 18; a village either side of the frozen waterway. This gives way to woodland and a large-scale Lumber Yard, run by the Gorengard company. Further south is the large-scale arable Krovnik Farmland, with mainly fruit and crops grown, though there are the remains of livestock still rotting in the fields. The rural landscape quickly changes to industrial docks within the once-bustling City of Verdansk Port. Finally, looming over Verdansk from its coastal cliff promontory, is the castle-like Zordaya Prison Complex where you’ll find for your life in the feared Gulag.

Pro Tips

A Complete Neighborhood

Tip #209

A Complete Neighborhood

SECTOR 3: VERDANSK SOUTHWEST ZONE 3C: BARAKETT PROMENADE WEST

The Barakett Promenade area has nearly every chain store within Verdansk – from the Public House and a Bank to Gas Stations and Electronic Stores – as well as a Fire House. If your squad wants to loot a reliable area for specific loot types, mark the Promenade down on your Tac Map.

Under Construction

Tip #216

Under Construction

SECTOR 3: VERDANSK SOUTHWEST ZONE 3E: KART RACING TRACK, ZOZSNI SPOMENIK, NOVI GRAZNA HILLS

Although these homes aren’t built, they can still act as temporary shelter while exploring the Novi Grazna Hills. These homes also provide great views over to the Barakett Promenade, so consider climbing up to an unfinished roof or second floor to snipe or scout northwards.

Out on the Yard

Tip #253

Out on the Yard

SECTOR 5: VERDANSK EAST ZONE 5E: ZORDAYA PRISON COMPLEX

The Zordaya Prison Complex Yard can hold valuable loot and even vehicles, but the guard towers and wall can house enemy sharpshooters. Be cautious when wandering out onto the yard, lest you be sent to the Gulag.

End of the Line

Tip #208

End of the Line

SECTOR 3: VERDANSK SOUTHWEST ZONE 3B: VERDANSK TRAIN STATION

The Verdansk Train Station also has another transit hub – a Bus Terminal – which may not be as popular as the sprawling station. With some loot opportunities here and in the Military Checkpoint, don’t hesitate to check this area before – or after – exploring the main Train Station.

From Downtown!

Tip #201

From Downtown!

SECTOR 3: VERDANSK SOUTHWEST ZONE 3A: VERDANSK HOSPITAL

The front of the Hospital faces Downtown, where multiple building roofs look directly over to it. When travelling to and from this area, be mindful of potential snipers from the East.

Towers of Power

Tip #167

Towers of Power

SECTOR 1: VERDANSK NORTH ZONE 1C: ARKLOV PEAK MILITARY BASE

The two Comms Towers are the highest points within the Military Base area. Although they come with a bit of risk, snipers who want to scout ahead for their squad should definitely put both of these points of interest on their radar.

Frozen Assets

Tip #157

Frozen Assets

SECTOR 1: VERDANSK NORTH ZONE 1A: GORA DAM, GORA TUNNEL, BLOC 17, BLOC 16

If you are playing Plunder and need a place to deposit some Cash that’s out of the way, there is a Cash Deposit Site right near the frozen river. While you may have to deal with snipers from the Dam, it’s pretty remote compared to one in more familiar locales or in a suburb.

Pulling Them Off the Air

Tip #177

Pulling Them Off the Air

SECTOR 1: VERDANSK NORTH ZONE 1E: CRASH SITE, LOZOFF PASS, BLOC 14, BLOC 15, WHP CAMP

The Switchbacks and Trails/Karst Transformer locations both have incredible sightlines over to the TV Station and Stadium, two main stops before hitting downtown. Given their obscurity, it may not be a bad idea to scout here prior to your assault on either locale.

Where Am I?

Tip #148

Where Am I?

Tac Map: Atlas

You can quickly learn where you are in Verdansk by a few area markers: each major location has a name over it while infiltrating the Warzone, the Tac Map also has these major location names, and, at the top of your HUD, it will show the area you are currently in when applicable.

The Roads (Sometimes) Less Travelled

Tip #169

The Roads (Sometimes) Less Travelled

SECTOR 1: VERDANSK NORTH ZONE 1D: KARST RIVER QUARRY

By way of sheer convenience, the northern border of Verdansk between the Military Base and Quarry may be less travelled than the highway system. If you’re trying to travel between these two places, consider taking the cliff roads to potentially maintain a lower profile.
