Pro Tips

No Safe Harbor

Tip #15

No Safe Harbor

Given its proximity to the northern labs and engineering buildings as well as the Prison Block, the three buildings that make up the Harbor can be popular drop points. Stay close to the shoreline to avoid glances from snipers on the Prison Block, and prepared to pack CQB weaponry to deal with threats in any of the three buildings.

A Scenic Trip Up the West Coast

Tip #07

A Scenic Trip Up the West Coast

Rebirth Island’s west road from the Construction Site past the Harbor up to the Bioweapons Lab is less busy than the east in terms of structure. Consider travelling up and down here to potentially find some leftover Supply Boxes, especially if the vehicles and Buy Stations don’t appear along this road.

The Yellow Door

Tip #16

The Yellow Door

The Headquarters Command Center’s first floor has a locked yellow door; those who have the code could crack open the secrets of Rebirth Island, and might get a reward for doing so… Just remember to pack some CQB weapons to deal with fellow Easter Egg hunters who lurk inside this building.

Always on Time

Tip #14

Always on Time

The Tram shuttles constantly between the top of the Prison Block and a Dockside platform, making it an unconventional sniping location up the island’s east side. However, know that the predictable movement pattern, and the lack of doors and windows, could leave you a sitting duck for trained marksmen looking for a quick pick.

Prison Break-In

Tip #11

Prison Break-In

Need a less conspicuous way into the Prison Block? Head to where the Shore is marked on your Tac Map to find a tunnel into its basement. You’ll pop up right in the Showers area, which has a staircase up to the main cell block where plenty of action can take place.

Sparse on Security

Tip #20

Sparse on Security

Because it’s at sea level and far from most structures, the Security Area could shake out to be a less popular drop point. If the final circle falls far from here and a helicopter cannot be found, consider coming here to clean up on Supply Boxes and loadout items in exchange for a long trip up to more active zones.

Reinforcements by the Boatload

Tip #02

Reinforcements by the Boatload

Due to its size, Rebirth Island is prime for multi-party engagements, particularly when playing the Resurgence game mode where respawns can lead to lone wolves diving back in for revenge. If your squad does not want to get overwhelmed, try waiting for fights in progress to settle, then pick off the remaining survivors and collect the spoils of war for yourselves.

Ascension 7… 15… 1…

Tip #13

Ascension 7… 15… 1…

The exterior ascenders found around the Prison Block offer quick ways to reach its roof. Have a few pesky snipers taken residence up here? Use these orange ziplines to get on their level and bring them back down to earth.

Somebody’s Watching Me

Tip #17

Somebody’s Watching Me

Other than the Water Tower, the Surveillance Tower is one of the more popular sniping locales on the map, as it has commanding views over the Prison Block and most of the island’s southern half. If you spot a light shining from this structure, take cover; that’s the bright glint from a sniper scope rather than its beacon.

Engineering a Longshot

Tip #08

Engineering a Longshot

The fourth floor of the Chemical Engineering Office has two windows facing south, both of which are great for counter-sniping players on the Water Tower and Prison Block. One of them also avoids a large tree and offers a direct line of sight to the top of the Surveillance Tower, which might be useful for those looking to hit an extreme longshot.
