The TV Station area is on natural high ground. Although it isn’t as mountainous as Verdansk North, this section of Central Verdansk, it can still provide an elevated vantage point, especially if you sit atop the TV Station or the Comms Tower.
The parking garage is deceptively complicated for an area. From military tents to ground loot taking up parking spaces, it’s not a bad idea to explore every part of this lot or decide to land here against the more obvious Airport areas.
If you can grab a helicopter after building a sniping loadout, you could parachute up to the tallest gondola in the Ferris Wheel, which provides incredible views of the Promenade, Downtown, Tavorsk Park and the Hospital. Just be sure to pack a Self-Revive Kit when taking a ride on the Ferris Wheel, because if you go down, your squad may not be able to reach you for a revive.
The Barakett Promenade area has nearly every chain store within Verdansk – from the Public House and a Bank to Gas Stations and Electronic Stores – as well as a Fire House. If your squad wants to loot a reliable area for specific loot types, mark the Promenade down on your Tac Map.
Although the guide sections out Verdansk into five sectors and over 330 points of interest, combat doesn't just take place within those areas. Be mindful of how battles can spill over from sector to sector, especially when it comes to long-range engagements.
The roar of an engine is definitely louder than your own two feet. If your squad is considering a stealth approach to a combat situation, try parking your vehicle a safe distance away, then finish the rest of the journey on foot.
Part 1: In its simplest form, here’s why you want to do every basic movement technique:
Stationary – Better accuracy compared to moving.
Walking – Minimal penalty to accuracy, allows you to move.
Crouch Walking – Keeping a lower profile and having better accuracy in exchange for slower movement.
Prone – Maximum accuracy and lowest profile at the cost of snail-pace movement.
While the Kart Racing Track can be a fun diversion from the Warzone, be sure to check its stands and the nearby warehouse for potential loot. You never know if Verdansk’s resident kart racing champion left their prize money lying around here.
When making callouts to teammates in Warzone, especially when scouting ahead with a high magnification optic, it may be wise to note what Operators your opponents are using, or even what they are wearing. In other words, the more intel you communicate, the better your teammates can understand how to tackle the situation at hand.
The Train Station has three stairwells that allow for roof access: Main Concourse, one in the East Concourse, and one in the U-shaped building northwest of the Main Platform. Know that flanks can come from either of these three staircases and consider setting up equipment traps here to cover your six.
