Having familiarity with every weapon in the game is an incredible advantage to have for the Gulag, as you and your opponent will have the same random loadout for the 1v1 fight ahead.
Think about this: if both you and your opponent survive the 1v1 Gunfight with the same health and time expires, both of you get killed. Don't step into a hail of bullets too quickly; but don't take too long to down your opponent, either!
The hangars within the Arklov Peak Military Base – and by extension some Verdansk International Airport hangers – are a lot larger than you think. Be prepared for long-range combat indoors, as these hangars were meant to fit planes that could hold the whole lobby.
Although the Ticket Hall has a beautiful ceiling, it’s also a potential hot spot, as action can spill in from the West and Main Platforms. If an engagement happens, use the information booth and the stairwell for cover.
Do not miss your chance to get back in the Warzone; pay attention to your health while in the Gulag, and don’t waste your opportunity on a rushed or reckless decision.
Supply Boxes can be hot spots for combat, as there are only a finite number of these on the map. When going for a cache, don’t dawdle for too long, lest another Trio come to claim it for themselves.
Inside the Zordaya Prison Complex is an intricate network of cells. There is an abundance of Supply Boxes and other goodies inside, but it can be complicated to get in – and out – of the area. Make sure those pings and comms are on point before your squad ventures into here.
Whether its atop the Fire Station or the Upper Dam, few vistas compare to what you’ll get atop the Gora Dam. Come here with the longest scope you have and look down below for any enemies worth engaging with.
While waiting for your fight, you can throw stones down into an active 1v1 and deal damage to players, allowing you to potentially determine the victor.
Rural areas sometimes have trees, rocks, and hills that can conceal movement patterns or act as cover. When there are little houses or other structures around, use the natural environment to your advantage.
