2026 ushers in the Year of the Horse as a new Lunar New Year celebration arrives in Season 2, bringing a wealth of content including new updates and features in DMZ: Recon, Plunder in Battle Royale, a new Shipment map variant, 1v1 Duel, the new Lachman-556 Assault Rifle in the Battle Pass, and more!
The Lunar New Year approaches, promising energy, speed, and momentum in the Year of the Horse. Celebrate with the arrival of Call of Duty®: Mobile Season 2, delivering a wealth of content across DMZ: Recon, Multiplayer, and Battle Royale!
Earn rewards across multiple events, look out for new Draws including a Mythic Weapon Draw for the new Lachmann-556 Assault Rifle, and collect an assortment of Reskins inspired by fan-favorite titles in the series. Additionally, acquire free and premium rewards from the Five Gods of Wealth Event & Lucky Draw, based on deities from Chinese folklore who bring wealth and prosperity, particularly around Lunar New Year.

Season 2 — Lunar Charge launches on February 11 at 4 PM PT.
New In Match Event — The Train (Serpent Island)
Enemy reinforcements have landed near a missile site. When this new event appears, it’s up to you and your squad to clear out the foes stationed around multiple possible marked sites in order to activate the nearby computer and launch a missile at the moving train.
Time will be of the essence as destroying the train will alert every player in the match. Get there ASAP to claim the goods on the smoldering train, including a special package that can be lockpicked for high quality loot
New Contract Event — Five Gods of Wealth
As part of Season 2’s collaboration themed around the Five Gods of Wealth, this in-game event challenges Operators to collect a new contract available on Serpent Island maps. Find the Five Gods of Wealth contract, activate it, and collect items from each marked location. Once all items are collected you and your squad can summon the Five Gods of Wealth in order to exchange the items for money.
New Boss (Building 21)
Face the deadly Velikan boss, newly arrived in Building 21, ready to eliminate anyone foolish enough to take him on. Once his presence is announced in the match, you’ll find Velikan hanging out near the elevator with an assortment of armored guards ready to do his bidding as he lobs grenades at you from his War Machine. Take him out, if you dare, and reap the high-quality rewards like a loot version of his War Machine grenade launcher.
New Mythic Constellation — Weapon Trials
Get your chance to try out a variety of Mythic Weapon Blueprints by finding new Mythic Weapon Parts, lootable items that are found throughout both the Serpent Island and Building 21 DMZ: Recon maps. Successfully extracting a with Mythic Weapon Part will let you exchange that item for a three day trial for a select Mythic Weapon.
New Battle Royale LTM: Plunder
The long awaited, fan-favorite Plunder makes its Call of Duty: Mobile debut as a new BR mode available for all of Season 2! Drop into Isolated as a trio and fight to be the first squad to accumulate $1 million.
Cash Up
Earn cash by searching supply crates far and wide, securing Airdrop Crates, completing Contracts, and eliminating enemy players who will drop a portion of their cash when taken out. In Plunder, all Operators respawn after death, leading to a more action-packed experience as the player count remains high throughout the match until a squad reaches the required cash amount to secure victory.
Hunt the Leaders
To help even the score, the highest-cash player on the top squad, along with the top two highest-cash players overall, will be marked on the map for all to see. In-game announcements will also broadcast when any squad reaches 50% and then 90% of the $1 million goal.
Deposit Your Earnings
Secure your earned cash by utilizing Cash Balloons and Deposit Helicopters. Cash Balloons can be purchased at Buy Stations and can hold $150k each, whereas Deposit Helicopters can be summoned at fixed locations around the map and have no cash limit. Note that a global alert notifies all players when a Deposit Helicopter is being called in.
Bonus Round
Once any squad’s total cash reserves exceed $1 million, the bonus round begins. A three minute timer will start counting down, and during that time, all earned cash is multiplied by x1.5. Squads who have already secured $1 million can continue collecting cash at this point to increase their total assets.
After the bonus round ends, each squad’s final deposited plus carried cash is totaled, declaring the richest squad the winner of the match.
New Multiplayer Map Variant: Shipment
The Lunar New Year arrives in Shipment in a new holiday-themed map variant. Head to the infamous locale now featuring an assortment of red and gold tones along with new lighting, falling snow, and festive decorations including firecrackers, Spring Festival couplets, and other themed content placed throughout the map. Live in-game on launch until 2/25 (UTC).
Returning Multiplayer Mode: 1v1 Duel
The 1v1 Duel returns! Now’s the time to back up all that talk with action. Step into a match with just you and one enemy. Compete in a best-of-three matchup with each round won by the first player to get seven eliminations.
Contestants can choose their Loadouts for the first round, but in each round after that, the loser of the previous round gets to choose the weapon class used by both players in the next round. Scorestreaks and Operator Skills are disabled while health regeneration is active.
This season, every 1v1 Duel match awards a trophy. Unlock milestone rewards for earning multiple trophies!
New Ranked Rewards
Five Gods of Wealth Event — Fortune Fusion
The Five Fortune Gods promise wealth and abundance in the new year. In this event, players complete daily missions ranging from a wide variety of easy and challenging tasks to earn a card flip on the board. Each card hides a different number of Wealth Points that can be used to unlock milestone rewards including the Epic Type 25 — Emerald Prosperity Weapon Blueprint and more.
1v1 Duel Event - Second to None
Step into the arena and engage in 1v1 Duels. Earn trophies for besting your opponents, earning rewards along the way. Through this event you can acquire a wealth of Secret Caches, a new Merc 2 Operator Skin, and several weapon camos.
Ramadan Event - Starlit Quest
To help celebrate Ramadan, all players will have access to a free in-game event that offers multiple ways to earn Ramadan themed rewards, like the operator Zero — Tranquil Nights, AK47 — Luminous, and the SVD — Falcon's Eye. This event launches on February 16 (UTC) and will last all season long.

Secret Cache Update: New Mythic & Event
A brand-new Mythic Weapon arrives in the Secret Cache system for the first time since the feature launched last year. The AGR 556 — Flying Dutchman brings vengeance upon its foes, inspired by the 17th century ghost ship doomed to sail the high seas for all time.
You will also be able to find Secret Caches in DMZ: Recon as rare lootable items. Extract with them to be able get an extra Secret Caches on top of the many events and daily rewards providing a constant flow of rewards.
Get some extra help with Secret Caches this season with Cache Streak! Earn bonus rewards for opening Secret Caches, which change every day. Build up a daily streak to earn Epic Weapons, an Epic Operator, and more.
The Lunar Charge Pass features free and premium winter-themed items including new Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Calling Cards, and additional Call of Duty® Points to spend on your next Premium Pass or Store purchase.
Battle Pass Free Tiers
Get your hands on the new Lachman-556 Assault Rifle, a versatile weapon that bridges the gap between an SMG and Assault Rifle for players who like to fight up close and in the mid-range. Also get a Counter UAV Scorestreak Reskin and other free tier rewards including weapon camos, Secret Caches, and items like avatars and calling cards.
Premium Pass Tiers
Purchase the Premium Pass for the chance to earn all the content in the Lunar Charge stream, including Operator Skins like Park — VNN Field Reporter, Stitch — The Butcher of Zordaya, Isabella — Puno, and a Sliver Good Fortune. Access hard-hitting Weapon Blueprints like the DLQ33 — Aftermath, PP19 — Headliner, SKS — Prison Break, and the Lachman-556 — Full Steam, based on the new Season 2 weapon.
Battle Pass Subscription: Enlist with the Ground Forces by purchasing a Battle Pass Subscription, granting additional monthly rewards along with a 10% boost to Player and Weapon XP, discount coupons, and limited discounts on 10x crate pulls.
The Season 2 Ground Forces will receive the Daniel — Wartorn Operator Skin, UL736 — Fortune’s Charge Weapon Blueprint, and Backpack — Fortune’s Charge.
Season 2 Challenge Pass
Progress through the Season 2 Challenge Pass by completing Standard, Special, and Elite Missions. Earn Tokens for use in the Exchange to purchase seasonal items like a Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare (2019)-themed Care Package Scorestreak Reskin and a Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War-themed Flashbang Grenade Reskin.
Check the in-game Events tab throughout the season for new Missions and rewards. For more intel on seasonal activities, check the Mission Board located in the main menu.
Store Update: Mythic Lachman 556 and More
New Mythic Weapon Draw: Descend on your foes with the new Mythic Lachman-556 Assault Rifle in the Forged in Ruin Draw. This Mythic weapon features a fearsome design combining elements of science fiction and dark magic into a deadly package that can be upgraded into the ultimate slaying machine. Also included in the Draw is the Legendary Krueger — Utter Destruction Operator Skin, like a revenant returning for one final, decisive battle.
Golden Turn Draw: Get the chance to deploy as Lustre, decked out in a red and gold design inspired by the Five Gods of Wealth. Lustre prefers to fight in the thick of it, bringing her Legendary VMP — Crimson Sparkfire Weapon Blueprint, also earnable through the Draw and featuring a special weapon inspection including a spin at the slots, sparking a celebratory animation should you hit upon the ever lucky 888.
Other Draws: Check the in-game Store for other Season 2 Draws including a Legendary Gun Draw featuring the Oden — Quantum Impact Weapon Blueprint and Kestrel — Coefficient Operator Skin, a Lunar New Year themed Dawn of the Horse Draw, a Mythic Siren rerun later in the season, and more!

New Prestige Weapon: Players who purchase a minimum of three main Lucky Draw weapons during Season 2 will unlock the Legendary M13 — Liminal Flare, a new Prestige Weapon featuring a striking futuristic design.
Battle Pass Vault: Three Battle Passes will be added to the Vault lineup this season, featuring he appropriately Lunar New Year themed Lunar Dragon (Season 2 – 2024), the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare themed Task Force 141 (Season 2 – 2022), and the stylish Tokyo Escape (Season 3 – 2021).
