Quick answers about the 2026 format, how to play, and what has changed
The Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship is a multi-part competitive season. It begins inside the game with Solo Qualifier and Team Qualifier, then continues with official out-of-game regional events that award World Championship Points through the World Championship Points System, also called WCPS. The season ends with the World Championship Finals.
The in-game portion uses two divisions: Open Division and Legendary Division. Open Division has its own Solo Qualifier and Team Qualifier leaderboards. Legendary Division requires players to be Grand Master or Legendary at sign-up. These divisions only apply for the Solo and Team Qualifiers. All split tournaments are open to any level of play.
After Team Qualifier, 2026 shifts into WCPS and two splits: Summer Split and Fall Split. Teams earn WCPS points in official Open Qualifiers and can be invited to split invitationals, including the Points Major (Summer Invitational) and the Regional Championship. Teams qualify to World Championship Finals through WCPS and through Regional Partner Tournaments.
Registration for Solo Qualifier and Team Qualifier happens in-game. For out-of-game events, Administration or the Tournament Operator will take place on PlayMobile.GG. Visit the website for more details.
You must be at least 18, be in good standing with your accounts, and reside in and compete with a Player Account associated with an Eligible Jurisdiction. Solo Qualifier is individual play in Ranked Matches. Wins award points based on your rank. You must reach 50 points to qualify for Team Qualifier. The rules describe Solo Qualifier as up to 10 ranked matches to earn points and also state that players may play more than 10 ranked matches during Solo Qualifier.
Solo Qualifier is scheduled as all day for all regions and divisions during March 30 to April 19, subject to change.

Additionally, players will receive the Urban Tracker skin “Away Advantage” after completing all 40 required matches.
Team Qualifier is team play in Ranked Matches. Teams can play more than 30 ranked matches, but points are awarded only for the first 30 ranked matches. Points per win are based on the average rank of players on the team. Teams are ranked on leaderboards by division and region. Administration may remove teams for eligibility violations and provide no rewards.

WCPS stands for World Championship Points System. WCPS points are separate from in-game points and are used for the out-of-game portion of the season. WCPS uses regional leaderboards and awards points only for official WCPS-eligible events. WCPS points are additive, and Administration may invalidate points in integrity cases such as cheating or administrative error.
Administration may award a one-time grant of WCPS starter points after Team Qualifier based on placement. The rules provide starter point tables for Open Division teams and Legendary Division teams by Stage 2 placement.
Each split consists of three Open Qualifier tournaments, followed by one invitation-only tournament for the top 16 teams on the region’s WCPS leaderboard. The Summer Invitational is called the Points Major. The Fall invitational is the Regional Championship.
The Points Major is the Summer Invitational. It is an invitation-only event for the top 16 teams on a region’s WCPS leaderboard at the lock time set by Administration.
For each region, the top 16 eligible teams on that region’s WCPS leaderboard at the lock time specified by Administration will be invited to the Points Major and or the Regional Championship, as applicable. Administration can adjust invites and seeding to address eligibility issues, disqualifications, or integrity concerns.
WCPS points are based on a participation award and a placement award. Placement awards use base points, then apply an event multiplier and a field size factor. Invitationals require at least one match win to earn placement points. Ties on the WCPS leaderboard are resolved using recent event points, best event placement, points earned across invitationals, and then a documented random draw if still tied.
Yes, Cross-Region Participation is possible for Open Qualifiers, but it requires an application and approval and may require proof of location in the host region. Approved cross-region teams have their points multiplied by 0.50 and credited only to their home region WCPS leaderboard. Cross-Region Participation is not permitted for invitationals unless expressly authorized in writing.
No. If a team participates in a Summer or Fall Qualifier 1, 2, or 3 in a region, it may not participate in any other region’s qualifier with the same split and number. The rules give an example using Summer Qualifier 2.
