Veterans of the Call of Duty franchise will find the TV Station to be familiar ground: the ground floor shares a layout to the Call of Duty 4®: Modern Warfare map Broadcast. Just don’t let those rose-tinted glasses blind you from this hotly contested zone.
Elevator shafts are a prime place to set up an ambush or protection via equipment pieces. Be cautious when deciding to head up an elevator shaft; it may be a safer option to take the stairwell and potentially flank those in waiting.
The Control Tower gives by far the best view of the entire airport, and even areas of North Verdansk, but it may not take long for other squads to catch onto a sniper up here. Worst case scenario: parachute away from the airport, as there are fewer points of interest there, which may translate to fewer enemies.
Lock-on launchers – the PILA and JOKR – are great for hunting down vehicles with their fire-and-forget functions. Try to find them in your next Warzone Battle Royale match – whether in the wild or in a Loadout Drop – and become the bane of every vehicle lover’s existence.
Deposit Sites are natural hot spots for combat, given that they are ways to save Cash and are often near Supply Boxes. Be cautious when dropping into these locales or passing by them, as you may get caught in some nasty crossfire.
Attack Choppers can be shot down, allowing anyone to take whatever Cash was on board. For this reason, your squad might want to always have a launcher at the ready and those eyes peeled for any choppers in the sky.
Exploring all of Verdansk can be more easily done on Plunder compared to Battle Royale, as the circle collapse will limit the playable area. For that reason, those who explore each locale on the map using this Atlas may want to start off playing Plunder to learn the vast open wilderness and settlements of Verdansk.
Assault Rifles: Specialization for Specific Situations
Assault rifles can be kitted for a variety of situations, such as the Oden and long-range damage dealing. Through level ups and Blueprints, you can see how certain unique attachments can create a one-of-a-kind version of these flexible rifles.
When your squad is preparing their Loadouts, it may be wise to have a diverse set of Perks across each operator. For example: one operator takes a loadout with Pointman to boost everyone’s contract payouts, another takes Hardline and becomes the designated Buy Station shopper, and the third takes High Alert and focuses on reconnaissance.
