Serpent Island

Serpent Island is a sizable map that’s primed for your exploration through the lens of Call of Duty® Mobile: DMZ Recon. Drop into Serpent Island and explore the variety of buildings, high rise and urban, throughout the central District. Or visit one of the 10 other vast POIs and loot until you drop. This guide will provide the tools you need in order to navigate Serpent Island. Depending on where you are on the map, you’ll be able to make your way across any portion and know which important locations may be nearby. Read further to see exactly what each icon represents on the Tac Map.

POIs

There are 12 POIs to explore on Serpent Island, click/tap on each of the names to find out a bit more about them. Each area is filled with Hostiles, as well as a few players running around. So, get the lay of the land early so that you have the advantage.

Buy Stations

Buy Stations are necessary to keep yourself geared up for the firefights ahead. Re-up your Loadout with Equipment, Armor Plates, Ammo, Scorestreaks, and even Vehicles. It’s the only way to grab a vehicle to quickly move around the map. It all costs money, but it is the key to survival during a long match.

High Value Items

Marked by Safe Boxes on the map, these locations are great spots to gather High Value Items. Be careful, there may be some heavy-duty enemies guarding the area and opening a Safe Box requires a quick mini-game

Radiation Zones

Radiation Zones are dangerous. If you’re going to be in or near one, remember to bring a Gas Mask. For the most part, these Radiation Zones are easily avoided and shouldn’t cause too much of an issue. However, when you’re successful and have been able to stay in the match until the final countdown, you may need to start actively evading these Zones. When the final countdown timer begins, Radiation Zones will spread and swallow up the Exfils, leaving you stranded if you’re not careful.

UAV Towers

UAV Towers are the ultimate source of intel. In order to find these locations all around the map, look for the tower icon. Enabling one pings enemy locations in the area around the tower. Once enabled, enemy players will be able to see that the UAV Tower has been turned on. So, they will know to either avoid that area or hunt you down because they know someone must be around. Use this to your advantage.

Exfils

Exfils, aka Extraction Zones, are indicated by the blue and black icon. There are several different types of Exfils, each with their own indicator and countdown. Pay close attention to which one you’re traveling to because it may dictate which ones are viable to you.

If there is a cash symbol, you’ll need some cash on hand to buy your way out. If you’ve been looting during the match, you should have enough to get out. But if there’s a vehicle, boat, train, or helicopter, it means the Exfil is a multi-step process, so make sure you have time to complete the steps before it’s too late. Otherwise, if it is just a normal Exfil, you’ll be able to begin Exfil as soon as you get there.
