Your parachute is your best friend when taking the high ground in Downtown. Remember that you can pull the chute if you are taking a potentially fatal plunge, and parachuting through the city could be one of the fastest modes of transportation.
An underrated portion of the Airport is the Runway Underpass; its subterranean nature can allow you to travel out of sight, and if a squad is trailing you, those multiple exits could leave them guessing.
Logically, one would think to drive over the rivers, but given that they are both barren, it is possible to take a ground vehicle down the Gora and Karst River. In fact, navigating along the rivers can be a faster, and possibly sneakier, way to drive up and down Verdansk.
With a helipad on the roof, the TV Station could have a helicopter ready for you to pilot out of this area. Alternatively, if you start to hear the whirr of those blades, look up towards the roof and you could catch a squad flying away from here.
The Zordaya Prison Complex Yard can hold valuable loot and even vehicles, but the guard towers and wall can house enemy sharpshooters. Be cautious when wandering out onto the yard, lest you be sent to the Gulag.
Enjoying the Zhokov Boneyard? What about Port of Verdansk? Those locales, and more, also appear as maps in Ground War, a five flag objective Multiplayer game mode. From the Railyard, you can follow the rail tracks by heading southeast, and travel (ideally by vehicle) throughout the entire map, tracing the railroad, and stopping off at multiple destinations. This rail network can be very helpful when learning the geography of Verdansk.
Like other memorials around Verdansk, the Zozsni Spomenik provides underrated verticality and views of the surrounding area – in this case, the Novi Grazna Hills. Use this landmark to situate yourself in Verdansk and also scout ahead for potential enemies.
Grandma’s House may feel familiar to some, and with that comes a tip they know too well: check its attic, as it may have a squad taking a breather in here after looting around the Quarry or Lozoff Pass.
One of the tutorials for Warzone takes place at Karst River Quarry, making it one of the easiest zones to study in the game. If you’re just starting out in Warzone and mastered those tutorials, there is no shame in landing in this familiar territory.
