Adjusted
- Prematch Backout Restrictions
- Players who repeatedly leave prematches in playlists with Win Streaks or Champion's Quest enabled will have their Win Streak and Champion's Quest progress reset to 0.
- Players will receive a warning before penalties are applied when repeatedly backing out while they or a party member has active Win Streak or Champion's Quest progress.
- Completing a full match resets backout tracking.
This change is intended to discourage repeatedly leaving prematches to preserve Win Streak or Champion's Quest progress. We'll continue monitoring player behavior and feedback to ensure the system effectively prevents abuse while accounting for legitimate disconnects and unexpected exits.

GAMEPLAY
New
- Supply Drones
- Supply Drones can be shot down to immediately access their payload, or players can wait for them to complete their delivery before collecting it.
- A portion of loot that previously spawned on the ground is now delivered by Supply Drones:
- Approximately 40% of Legendary Supply Box loot.
- Approximately 15% of Reusable Supply Box loot.
- 100% of Personal Supply Box loot.
- Buy Stations are also now delivered by Supply Drones in multiple waves throughout the match:
- The initial deployment delivers approximately 50% of Buy Stations.
- Additional waves gradually deploy the remaining Buy Stations to their predetermined locations.
- Players can shoot them down to access Buy Stations before they reach their destination.
- Destroying airborne Buy Stations also grants additional rewards.
- This feature is disabled in Ranked Play.
Adjusted
- Respawn Location Quality of Life
- Improved respawn positioning when no living squadmates are available as valid respawn targets.
This update improves the consistency of respawn scenarios by providing more reliable positioning, closer to the previous death location, when traditional squad-based respawn options are unavailable. Our goal is to reduce unfavorable respawn situations when your team is not currently in play.
- Vehicle Health
- Adjusted vehicle damage taken by playlist:
- Solos: Vehicles take approximately 30% more damage.
- Duos: Vehicles take approximately 20% more damage.
- Trios: Vehicles take approximately 10% more damage.
- Quads: No change.
- Adjusted vehicle damage taken by playlist:
Vehicle effectiveness can vary significantly depending on squad size, with smaller teams having fewer opportunities to coordinate against vehicle threats. These adjustments aim to create a more consistent vehicle balance across playlists. We’ll continue monitoring vehicle performance across playlists to ensure they remain impactful without becoming overly dominant in smaller squad sizes.

- Reduced Killstreak drop frequency from Legendary Supply Boxes:
- Fortune's Keep, Rebirth Island, and Ranked: Reduced by 15%.
- Haven's Hollow: Reduced by 10%.
- Reduced Killstreak drop frequency from Legendary Supply Boxes:
Killstreaks provide powerful opportunities to influence engagements, but excessive availability can impact match pacing. This adjustment is part of our continued effort to find the right balance between Killstreak effectiveness and ensuring ground combat remains the most important factor in engagements.
- Cash
- Adjusted cash distribution in Resurgence:
- Reduced the maximum cash drop from Grey and Blue Supply Boxes to $2,000.
- Increased the maximum cash drop from Orange Supply Boxes to $5,000.
- Adjusted cash distribution in Resurgence:
These adjustments reduce the frequency of large early-game cash spikes from standard Supply Boxes while increasing the value of Legendary Supply Boxes, making them a more meaningful loot objective.
Adjusted
» All Modes «
- Thermite
- Reduced Thermite damage against vehicles.
Thermites have remained a reliable option for dealing with vehicles, but their effectiveness against armored targets was exceeding our intended power level. With Season 5, they are coming back into loot rotation. This adjustment reduces their impact against vehicles while maintaining their role as a strong area denial and damage-over-time equipment option against players.

- Improved the visibility of Cluster Strike and Smoke Screen indicators when clipped at the edge of the screen.
These indicators are important gameplay cues that help players quickly understand nearby threats and environmental effects. This update improves readability and provides clearer information during fast-paced engagements.
- Care Package
- Increased the in-play limit for the Care Package Killstreak.
This change allows more Care Packages to be active at the same time, improving accessibility for players who earn the Killstreak while reducing situations where additional Care Packages cannot be deployed due to existing limits. We’re planning to deliver future updates to allow players even greater agency on how many Care Packages are available at once.

- Dropping Lethals and Tacticals Quality of Life
- Players can now drop Lethal and Tactical Equipment directly from their inventory.
We’re excited to bring this feature back. This change provides players with greater control over their equipment management, allowing for more flexibility when sharing resources with teammates. Our goal is to improve inventory interactions while maintaining the existing balance of available equipment throughout a match.

Weapon Adjustments
» Battle Royale & Resurgence «
Underwater Ballistics Quality of Life
Standardized underwater bullet behavior to improve weapon consistency.
Increased maximum underwater bullet travel distance:
Sniper Rifles: Set to 19m.
Marksman Rifles: Set to 19m.
LMGs:Set to 17m.
Assault Rifles: Set to 15m.
SMGs: Set to 12m.
Pistols: Set to 10m.
Decreased underwater bullet gravity scalar.
Previously, underwater engagements could feel inconsistent due to significant differences in weapon performance through water surface. These changes standardize underwater ballistics behavior across weapon categories, improving reliability and predictability while maintaining the intended limitations of engaging with an underwater target.
We've seen a healthy spread of weapon choices across both the AR and SMG categories. With this update, we're making targeted adjustments to a handful of weapons to further open up the meta and create more opportunities for strong contenders just below the top to shine. Overall, we've been pleased around weapon selection and what our analytics show in terms of weapon pick rates.
