Raise the Stakes
The ongoing battle between JSOC and The Guild heats up as the balance of power shifts. With guidance from Karma, expert infiltrator Cole “Javelin” Donovan has successfully hacked into The Guild’s system using his C-Link device, allowing JSOC to turn The Guild’s own defenses against them. Will they use this newfound advantage to push toward victory and tear apart the oppressive conglomerate? Or will their enemies regroup in time for the counterattack?
Season 03 Reloaded fans the flames with a firestorm of new content across all modes, including new experiences like Heat Wave Havoc and Hot Pursuit joined by extra maps, game modes, the next Round-Based Zombies Map, and additional Weapons, Blueprints, Operator Skins and more earned across Mid-Season Events and Weekly Challenges.

ENDGAME CONTENT SUMMARY
Endgame Free to Play Update: Endgame remains free to play for a limited time, offering new and returning players the chance to drop into the co-operative PvE experience focused on squad-based runs, boss, encounters, and repeatable challenges.
Operation Broken Mirror: Operations deepen with the introduction of Act II: Operation Broken Mirror, introducing new challenges, rewards, and the Virus Injection Glitch. Complete the Operation with Vermaak, Zaveri, or Jurado to earn a new Weapon Camo, and with all three to access a new Animated Weapon Camo.
New Major Ability: Set enemies aflame with the new Thermal Spike Major Ability, punishing foes caught in the path of fire.
Endgame will remain available as a free-to-play game mode for a limited time. Access the mode from the main Call of Duty menu and within Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops 7. Recruit new players to face the challenges within Avalon in this co-operative PvE mode where squads encounter increasingly difficult combat zones while taking on bosses and repeatable challenges while evolving their Operator along the way.

Act II: Operation Broken Mirror
Our insider has established a link. Infiltrate the Guild network and gather enough Diagnostic Data to develop a virus that can destroy the network.
Act II is about breaking the system, not just learning it.
With JSOC now linked to Javelin following Operation Poison Pill, the team confirms The Guild’s attempt to stand up a mirror C‑Link network. Karma’s objective is clear: build a virus powerful enough to shut it down... but doing so requires first mapping the network’s true structure.
Players return to Avalon to gather Diagnostic Data through targeted operations that disrupt Guild assets and expose the mirror network’s inner workings. These missions escalate toward the discovery of a Glitch Fracture, allowing players to breach the network’s corrupted core. By exploiting that breach, JSOC gains a delivery path for Karma’s virus, putting Javelin in position to deploy it from within and collapse the mirror network entirely.
Earn new rewards for every completed objective, including powerful upgrades for your Operator that will aid them in future steps.
In the final step, gain access to the new Virus Injection Glitch and take on the Glitch Boss. Operation rewards include a new Weapon Blueprint, Emblem, Double XP Token, Restore Token, Loading Screen, and more, detailed below.
Note that while Operation Poison Pill started with objectives that needed to be completed in Zone I or higher, Operation Broken Mirror begins with a Zone III or higher requirement right from Step 1, so ensure your Operator is up to the task before starting this Operation!
Face the Virus Injection Glitch, Earn Rewards
Earn a variety of valuable rewards and get powered up as you progress through the steps. Discover the location of the Virus Injection Glitch and take on waves of enemies and the Glitch Boss in Nightmare Difficulty.
Defeat the Virus Injection Glitch Boss in the final step of Operation Broken Mirror with Vermaak, Zaveri, or Jurado to earn the unique “Aftershock” Operator Skin.

Emit a powerful blast of flames that incinerate enemies. Flames persist in the area for a short duration.

Black Ops 7: Season 03 Reloaded Multiplayer
MULTIPLAYER CONTENT SUMMARY
Multiplayer Maps: Don’t get too relaxed in the Onsen hot springs map designed for 6v6 and 2v2 matches; the spa’s laid-back design is a ruse for the heated combat ahead. Plus, cool off with the Remastered Summit and revisit Hacienda.
Freerun: Put your movement skills to the ultimate test as The Guild recruits volunteers for a new training program. Compete against fellow Operators through 10 different zones of dexterity and marksmanship to see who can get the best time and earn rewards for completing objectives.
Multiplayer Modes: Support your teammates and play the objective to raise your Heat level and gain Operator bonuses in Heat Wave Havoc. For a cooler experience, play a game of Freeze Tag where it’s your team’s goal to chill the enemy while keeping your allies in the fight.
Assault a remote onsen in Yamanashi as a clandestine deal falls apart and fighting erupts. Pass by the oni statue on your way into the hot springs, the rising steam obscuring visuals across. Take the plunge or climb up the opposite building into the war room featuring a powerful balcony vantage point and access to the outer cliffside. Relax along the pool, terrace, and sauna, or cut enemy foes off at the underpass.
Transform the spa’s amenities into tactical opportunities to outplay opponents in this new Mid-Season map. The bath house will be waiting for you to celebrate your imminent victory.
Summit
Remastered, 6v6, Medium-Sized
The iconic Summit returns as players breach a dangerous Russian facility perched atop a snow-covered mountain. This classic mid-sized map was first introduced in the original Black Ops, its three-lane layout funneling Operators into hot zones like the central control room and across the narrow cliffside and catwalk.
This remastered version offers the most detailed incarnation of Summit to date, with Wall Jumping adding a new twist to the many battles head.
Hacienda
Returning, 6v6, Medium-Sized
Attack a fortified crime family estate as rival forces storm the mansion grounds in Hacienda, a classic mid-sized map centered in and around the grand villa. Gawk at the luxury vehicles in the driveway on your way to the foyer opening onto the estate. Enjoy the art and engage in long fights down the Gallery or stretch your legs out in the vineyard. For a more relaxed experience, stroll through the garden and take a dip in the pond.
First seen in 2018, Hacienda fits right into Black Ops 7, bringing both new and classic environments to the Mid-Season map pool.
Multiplayer Modes
Freerun
New Mode, Launch
The Guild is seeking early volunteers for a new Project Synapse training program, providing contestants the opportunity to prove themselves as you race against the clock while overcoming obstacles.
Overseen by Dr. Atwood, the Freerun course takes place on the Ascent map, a Guild Tower construct designed specifically for the Freerun mode. When the race begins, follow the track to progress through an increasingly demanding 10 zones, testing your abilities across a variety of challenges. Pull off difficult Wall Jumps, slide under low walls, hop across spinning platforms, and, as the course ramps up, use a variety of weapons to hit targets, opening the path forward.
Later zones will further challenge you with the addition of the Grappling Hook and Wingsuit, ensuring that contestants are tested on every facet of combat maneuvers. With ten racers per match, you’ll need to keep up your momentum to pull ahead.
Freerun Course Rewards:
- Complete the Freerun: Ascent course three times to earn the “Scaled” Emblem and 1,000 XP.
- Collect all Ciphers in Freerun: Ascent to earn the “Upswing” Weapon Charm and 2,500 XP.
- Complete the Freerun: Ascent course in under 14 minutes with fewer than 10 faults to earn the “Innovate” Universal Weapon Camo and 5,000 XP.
Compete for additional rewards in the Mid-Season Freerun: Ascent Challenge Event—including two additional Weapon Camos—detailed in the Season 03 Reloaded Events section found below in the General Content section of this blog.
Heat Wave Havoc
New Mode, In-Season
Get fired up in Heat Wave Havoc, a new LTM that rewards Operators with enhanced abilities for supporting their team with non-lethal cooperative actions. Drop into a Mosh Pit of Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Domination, and Hardpoint, and see how hot you can get to become a firestorm of destruction.
Operators progress through five different Heat Levels, each level granting additional abilities improving combat efficiency. Generate heat through support actions like revealing enemies, scrambling enemy radars, buffing teammates, impairing enemies, capturing and defending objectives, and other non-lethal actions.
Support your team to generate heat and gain Operator bonuses based on your Heat Level as follows:
- Low Heat: Faster Field Upgrade recharge.
- Medium Heat: Faster movement, sprint-to-fire speed, and mid-air mobility.
- Hot: Faster weapon reloads, ADS speed, and swap speed.
- Extra Hot: Equipment refills after eliminating enemies.
- Extra Extra Hot: Increased damage and score for headshots.
Freeze Tag
New Mode, In-Season
Cool off with a game of Freeze Tag, a new 6v6 respawn mode where teams compete to freeze their enemies while keeping allies thawed and in the fight. Eliminated Operators drop into a frozen state, where they are unable to complete any actions until a teammate shatters them free by shooting or otherwise damaging their downed teammate.
If one team manages to freeze the entire enemy team, a Total Freeze will occur, releasing all Operators from their frozen status and awarding the team who froze all enemies a large score boost. Use your mini-map to track the location of frozen teammates, so you can prevent a Total Freeze from being inflicted on your side. The first team to reach the score limit wins.
Black Ops 7: Season 03 Reloaded Zombies
ZOMBIES CONTENT SUMMARY
New Round-Based Zombies Map — Totenreich: The crew descends on an old Norwegian fishing village, first founded during the Bronze Age and now caught in the Dark Aether. Welcome to Totenreich, the new Round-Based Zombies map arriving with Season 03 Reloaded. Explore the unsettling relationship between the locals and the Group 935 research facility established there, investigating nefarious experiments in the wake of giants.
New Enemies and Wonder Weapon: Face the dreaded Necropincer, rising from the depths to attack the unwary with its deadly trident and a ferocious mutated claw. Also wield the Jotunn Star, a wide-sweeping melee Wonder Weapon that bathes and burns enemies with spectral energy.
New Features: Roast zombies to a crisp with the Flammenfalle Trap, bringing much needed heat to this cold island. Still not hot enough? Try out the new Wild Fire Field Upgrade to pulse waves of fire that burns enemies who get too close. Take on the Main Quest for XP and rewards, test your skills in Cursed, unlock new Pack-a-Punch Camos, and perhaps find a fabled Ultra-Rarity Legacy Weapon within the Mystery Box!
“Welcome to Eidskallen – Sorry about the reception committee.” — The Twins
The time loop is broken, and following the Dark Heart’s defeat in Paradox Junction, the Twins transport the crew to a new destination: Eidskallen, a Norse fishing village on a blustery, windswept coast that has been inhabited since the late Bronze Age. Historians have noted that the site has been occupied through the centuries, all the way to the age of Vikings, and into modern times. Indeed, evidence of medieval Norse structures can be found across the island, from burial mounds, a feasting hall, and a strange stave church. All overlooked by an ominous lighthouse, still shining its light into the gloom.
The entire settlement has been ripped from reality, casting the Group 935 research base and their hulking mechanical machinations into the Dark Aether.

Deploy to the frozen birthplace of nuclear fire and explore the ancient village that Group 935 transformed into a research base hiding sinister secrets.
Totenreich: Giants Collide
As a towering Shadowsmith threatens to crush them underfoot, the crew barely escapes. The gigantic creature is bound to this place, and you must explore the island to get to the bottom of its dark past.
Tales tell of a doomed undead Viking warrior spirit—known to some as a Draugr— challenging invaders to vicious armed combat. It seems the presence and the sheer brutality of Group 935 have awakened an unnatural aberration that rises from the cold seas to aid in the protection of Eidskallen. Said to be summoned by those “followers of the old ways,” these frightening chimeras now attack on sight, perhaps driven mad after further experimentation by Group 935 itself.
The Necropincer wields a trident, piercing and stabbing adversaries who venture too close, while throwing the weapon at more distant foes. With its giant crab claw in place of a left arm, the creature can also block incoming shots and use this pincer to slam and bludgeon. This is an enemy equally prepared for offense and defense. A relentless combatant, the Necropincer exemplifies the cold death awaiting those unable to stand up against its formidable aggression.
Totenreich: New Wonder Weapon: Jotunn Star
Mastery Badges Available for this Weapon
Forged when Odin ruled the sky and giants walked the land, this ancient lantern casts death-dealing fireballs and strikes down foes with a barbed iron chain. Are you worthy to wield it?
This wide-sweeping Melee Wonder Weapon can take on even the most cold-hearted of enemies, stealing their souls for use in generating devastating attacks. A Norse artifact fortunately hidden from Group 935’s covetous hands by those on the island familiar with its myths and “old ways,” the Jotunn Star casts light and deadly fire.
With the Jotunn Star in hand, the wielder can attack enemies to inflict major damage. Striking them with up to five attacks in a row unleashes a deadlier hit, releasing an area of spectral energy on impact.
Lantern Swing: A dexterous wielder can swing the weapon in front of them, using the blunt instrument to drop advancing undead.
Flame Charge: The Jotunn Star drains the essence of creatures it eliminates, storing the energy within the weapon. This energy can be stored to provide warmth and to enable the Flame Tendril and Flame Strike attacks.
Flame Tendril: When two or more fully charged lanterns are being utilized, a fiery cord connects them and slowly drains the life of anything that gets in its way
Flame Strike: When sufficiently charged, the stored energy within the Jotunn Star can be discharged as a concentrated, explosive fireball, damaging and setting foes alight.
Totenreich: Flammenfalle Trap
Roast foes with a blast of flames.
Drop some Essence to spin up this new trap that shoots out three jets of flame incinerating undead foes in range of the hot blasts. Once you’ve got the power back up and running, this scorching trap is just the ticket if you want to heat up your slaying capabilities.
Enhance the Flammenfalle’s abilities by activating a valve on the body of the trap, activating a heat zone that protects the crew from chilling effects, gives weapons the chance to trigger Napalm Burst, and passively builds the Jotunn Star’s Flame Charge while inside of the heat zone.
Totenreich: A Chill in the Air
Eidskallen is prone to bouts of extreme weather that will strike during Special Rounds. When this happens, the air chills and temperatures plummet, affecting every crew member’s view and slowing you down, unless you’re able to get inside or secure some warmth. Keep your wits about you when this occurs, as lurking Frost Zombies emerge from the mists to attack in droves.
Totenreich: New Main Quest, Quest Rewards, and Challenges
The Main Quest for Totenreich becomes available when the map releases with Season 03 Reloaded on April 30 at 9:00 AM PT. Complete the Main Quest to earn the following:
- The “Ambition” Richtofen Operator Skin, Calling Card, and 10,000 XP.
- Complete Totenreich Mastery Challenge for another Calling Card and 5,000 XP.
- Obtain the necessary Intel (Audio Logs, Documents, and Artifacts) to earn a third Calling Card and another 10,000 XP.
- Players who complete the Main Quest before Directed Mode arrives for this map will also earn a unique Calling Card variant.
Totenreich: Cursed Mode, New Pack-a-Punch Camos
Take on the ultimate challenge with Cursed mode on Totenreich, offering no Main Quest guidance and providing a limited HUD and a starting Pistol. Hunt down new Cursed Relics and earn rewards including the following:
- The “Jade Legion” Pack-a-Punch Camo, Calling Card, and 15,000 XP.
- The “Crimson Legion” Pack-a-Punch Camo, Calling Card, and 20,000 XP.
- The “Heliotrope” Pack-a-Punch Camo, Calling Card, and 25,000 XP.
New Field Upgrade: Wild Fire
Imbue yourself with fire, increasing your speed and burning all enemies that get too close.
When the swarm is on you, or you need to push through the thick of it, Wild Fire may keep you safe. Activating this Field Upgrade radiates pulses of heat from your location that also engulfs enemies near the wielder, while you enjoy a small increase in speed. Wild Fire becomes even more powerful with its Augments, capable of incinerating anything that stands in your way.
Major Augments
Fireball! While Wild Fire is active, fire balls will launch along with your attacks.
Firestorm: On activation, deploy a fire tornado that pulls in and immolates enemies.
Free Radical: While Wild Fire is active, the effects of the attack occasionally drop pools of fire on the ground.
Flashover: Starting with the initial activation, every third Wild Fire pulse deals significantly more damage in a larger radius.
Minor Augments
Oxidizer: Increase Wild Fire’s duration.
Backdraft: On activation, nearby zombies are knocked down, and larger enemies are stunned.
Molten Core: Enemies are dealt more damage the closer they get to you.
Heat Surge: While Wild Fire is active, your movement speed is increased even further.
CALL OF DUTY: WARZONE SUMMARY
New Limited-Time Modes: Engage in a high-speed chase of Police vs. Thieves in Hot Pursuit, a new limited-time mode testing your driving skills throughout Avalon. In Prop Hunt Royale, the party mode arrives as 24v24 on Rebirth Island, featuring over a dozen prop types to help players blend in with the environment.
Power Up with Spikes: Check your local Buy Station for the introduction of Spikes, an experimental military stimulant granting Operators improved combat capabilities including Armor Salvaging, Prone Firing, and Handicraft.
Lethal Addition: The Cluster Grenade arrives in the Mid-Season across Core Battle Royale and Resurgence modes, the ideal weapon for scattering and blasting enemy squads.
Drop into a high intensity squad mode where Police hunt down Thieves in a fast-paced, vehicle-driven game mode that will test your driving skills and see just how well you really know the streets of Avalon. To keep the action moving, Hot Pursuit features an increased vehicle spawn rate across the map, and with Resurgence rules in place, Operators will respawn up to a certain point as long as one squad member remains alive.
Police
Police vehicles include the ATV, JLTV, and the Light Heli. Activate the sirens on these vehicles to initiate a radar pulse, showing nearby Thieves on the mini-map. In the Light Heli, this ability expands to include directional information on enemy movement.
All Police vehicles also have the ability to see enemy vehicles through walls, so keep up the pressure and don’t let those robbers get away.
Thieves
Thieves get access to the UTV and Dirt Bike, preferring speed and mobility to zip through Avalon and leave the Police in the dust. With the UTV, players can activate a boost for increased speed, while the Dirt Bike allows players to trigger Active Camo and drop a Smoke Grenade. Both vehicles also have a passive ability guiding Thieves toward special loot caches with high quality items inside.
The last squad standing wins.
Prop Hunt Royale
Rebirth Island, 48 players
Prepare to join in on the fun of Prop Hunt in a large-scale setting as the party mode deploys to Rebirth Island. In this 24v24 round-based mode, teams alternate between the role of Hunters and Props.
Props
Props get half a minute at the start of the round to select a prop and hide. From loot caches to office chairs, Buy Stations, barrels, and over a dozen other options, Props will test the Hunters’ ability to detect the real from the fake.
Props can change up to three times and provide a limited number of Decoys and Stun Grenades to keep the Hunters at bay. Props can move but cannot swim underwater and will also emit a whistle effect at certain points throughout the match to keep the pressure up. If at least one prop remains at the end of the round, the Props win that round.
Hunters
It’s the Hunters’ job to seek out the Props and eliminate them, so evaluate your environment carefully. Was that item always there?
Hunters can additionally seek out ground loot and loot caches for access to weapons and other gear including Stun Grenades and Grappling Hooks. Lethals and Field Upgrades are disabled. If Hunters eliminate all Props during a round, they win that round.
The first team to win three rounds wins the match!
New Equipment: Spikes
You need every advantage you can get when competing in Call of Duty: Warzone, and Spikes are the latest means of getting ahead of your foes. Once the Mid-Season launches, deploy and head to a Buy Station to purchase the experimental military stimulant, including the following options:
- Armor Salvaging: Immediately gain an equipped Armor Plate after eliminating an enemy.
- Prone Firing: Greatly reduce weapon recoil while crouched or prone.
- Handicraft: Regenerate Equipment over time.
Fallen Operators will need to repurchase Spikes, so keep up the pressure and don’t let the enemy get the first shot.
Lethal Addition: Cluster Grenade
Devastate enemy squads as the Cluster Grenade expands from Black Ops Royale into Core Battle Royale and Resurgence modes across Call of Duty: Warzone. With this deadly munition in hand, they won’t stand a chance.

Charge energy weapon. Fires a high-damage, slow-moving projectile that passes through foes. Charge to improve projectile velocity.
Inflict high damage on enemies with this Special Weapon that fires a slow-moving projectile, its velocity increasing as you charge the weapon before letting loose on your target.
