Enter a former Guild research facility, now serving as the nerve center of Project Synapse. Built near the sea, this manmade megastructure links living quarters and extravagant exteriors in a futuristic semblance of paradise far from the reach of more modest communities.
The mid-sized, three-lane map runs on the larger side providing a variety of points of interest including a model Display Home, Showroom, and Restaurant. Test your parkour skills across the Balcony and get up on the Train in the Transit Courtyard to fire from the rails. In this land of luxury, only the best plays win.
1. Get Maddox: The Maddox RFB Assault Rifle unlocked in the Season 01 Battle Pass is the perfect tool for Utopia. Its fast fire rate and large ammo pool excel in the map’s mid-range outdoor areas while remaining competitive in tighter spaces like the Display Home and Restaurant.
2. Track and flank: Attach the Enhanced Sensors Overclock ability to the Scout Pulse Scorestreak to display directional arrows instead of red dots when the radar pings. Use the low-cost ability when pushing the objective to help propel you to the next streak, using your map knowledge to flank tracked enemies from behind.
3. Mid-ranged mayhem: While every playstyle can excel here, Utopia’s abundance of mid-range sightlines makes the map ideal for leveling Assault Rifles, Marksman Rifles, and even LMGs. Areas like the Transit Courtyard, Balcony, Garden, Car Park, and Concourse all encourage mid-ranged play. Get in there and level those weapons.
Not in the mood to parkour your way down the Balcony? Test your balance on the Pipe running along the outer edge of the map. Use it to flank enemies moving through the Balcony or keep your head low as you run down to sneak past the enemy line. Watch your footing, it’s a long drop down.
The Restaurant is one of the best power positions on the map. Its upper floor looks down over the Courtyard with an opening out to the Train for a different angle. Fall back into the Restaurant for quick access to the Garden and the stairs descending to the Courtyard ground floor. Try your luck in the eatery and see if you can’t lock the place down.
The Side Path across from the Restaurant serves as an interesting choke point connecting the Car Park and Courtyard. Try equipping an SMG or Shotgun and move through the narrow route, ambushing enemies around the Courtyard and Display Home. Use the upper ledge to get your sights on the Train then drop back down and force the fight up close.
