A monorail lies in ruins in a downtown shopping district lit up by the glow of advertisements. Explore the park and market streets around the wreckage and fight through the transit station in a tightknit urban layout that rewards exploration and quick thinking.
1. Push and pull: It pays to move fast, but Toshin’s tight urban layout will punish you if you overextend. Move with your teammates to avoid getting outnumbered and use the map’s vantage points to lock down areas under heavy attack.
2. Street smarts: Hone your sense of danger with Hunter’s Instinct to mark the direction of the next closest enemy whenever you eliminate a target. Stay on the offensive and use the extra intel to spot enemies before they flank you.
3. Demo scout: Equip Flak Jacket, Blast Link, and Quartermaster with the Cluster Grenade. Blast Link benefits the whole team, so that all explosive damage translates to minimap intel. On these narrow streets, you’re bound to land a hit with the blast.
The Koban rooftop is one of the best power positions on the map. It looks over the Park and Station on one side with a straight view to the Monorail on the other. Use its high corner for cover and slip down the back to flank foes on the ground.
There are useful vent connections on both sides of Station. Inside by the Park entrance, look for the elevator shaft that drops down to the Sign. The Sign’s thin walkable path connects to the upper floor of Karaoke with coverage over Monorail.
At the Station’s west end look for the open vent that connects to an open closet in the Cat Café. Take the stairs down to the streets or fight from the upper floor with its excellent coverage of the Monorail crash site. Use these vents for a quick escape and to catch the enemy by surprise.
