A Guild transport plane crashes in the Alaskan wilderness and JSOC races to recover its encrypted payload before it’s lost. The wreckage lies scattered over the ground as the Fuselage, Cabin, and Wing bring new tactical elements to the rough terrain. Battle through the elements, track enemy footsteps in the snow, and cinch the win with ice cold precision.
1. Follow the footprints: Operators leave tracks in the snow, a feature you can use to your advantage when pursuing a fleeing enemy. In areas that are still fresh, follow the footprints to help locate your target. When being pursued, use your trail to bait the enemy and then turn on them at the last minute.
2. Guild delivery: Use the open Guild crate to ambush nearby Operators moving through the middle of the map. Throw down a Trophy System to fend off incoming grenades once they’ve marked your position.
3. Wing gunner: Equip the Gyroscopic Stabilizer Overlock on the Point Turret and toss it up on the underside of the Wing, adding an extra layer of firepower to assist you in the hard work of controlling the map’s center.
The torn opening in the eastern Cabin offers an incredible view over the center lane and the nearby pathways to either side. The two other Cabin openings are worthwhile, too, one looking down toward the Shoreline and the other offering a strong escape into the twisted pathways of Glacier.
The Fuselage has seen better days, though the wreckage left behind creates a powerful vantage point with views toward three major areas on the map. Look out from behind the twisted scraps of metal to bolster your defenses and bring a teammate or switch from viewpoint to viewpoint to catch enemies before they have the chance to get inside.
The raised ledge near the SAM site on Plateau is an easily overlooked vantage point that’s perfect for ambushing enemies moving between the center and west end of the map. The low wall on one side and the leaning rock on the other offer cover against incoming shots, and it’s just a quick hop back down to reposition when things get too hot.
