JSOC investigates a lavish mansion in the hills of Japan that may hold the key to Menendez’s plan. First introduced in Call of Duty®: Black Ops 2, Raid returns in a new Japanese setting, overlooking the shoreline outside of Tokyo. Though the aesthetic differs, the same fan-favorite layout remains, from the luxury Pool to the iconic Courtyard and Circle Drive.
1. Tuning up: From casual to competitive play, Raid has earned its reputation as a balanced three-lane map where every playstyle can dominate. Test and tune your Loadouts here, exploring the map from every approach.
2. Courtyard tag: The Blast Link Perk turns Courtyard battles into an intel spree. Enemies hit by explosive damage by anyone on your team will light up on the minimap, helping you catch them before they have a chance to heal back up.
3. Five finger discount: Don’t hesitate to pick up dropped weapons that balance out weaknesses in your Loadout. All weapon types can excel on Raid, and picking up other players’ weapons is a great way to experiment and level up a wider selection of guns.
Few spots rival the Bedroom view over the Pool. Use it to cover your advancing teammates and to defend against incoming attacks. Keep an eye on the back stairs to fend off enemies coming up from behind.
There’s a corner ledge sticking out over the shore that’s easy to miss. It runs from the outer Garage toward the Fountain and Bedroom, largely concealed by the long planter box cutting it off from the walkway. Use it to ambush unsuspecting Operators or as a quick escape from losing fights.
The Bedroom might get the credit for best angle over the Pool, but this corner view is dominant in its own right. The severely angled view better conceals your position, plus it’s just a quick run into the Office window to change lanes and refocus your attention on the Kitchen.
