The most storied Multiplayer map in Black Ops history, Nuketown returns in a remaster of Nuketown 2025, the incarnation first seen in Call of Duty®: Black Ops 2. This version retains the retrofuture feel of the original, while adding some flourishes such as upgrading the former mannequins into robots. Regardless of your level of experience on this legendary map, it’s time to rediscover the city of the future.

Nuketown 2025 Intel

1. House party: The front-facing windows on both homes are the biggest power positions on the map, encouraging constant movement inside as players contend for the coveted viewpoints. Join in on the frenzy or head out to the Garage, a more secluded area with views on the Cul De Sac and the rear Yard.

2. Down the sides: While much of Nuketown 2025 is catered toward close- to mid-ranged fights, the side paths running along the north border offer distant views that are perfect for taking out enemies from afar, whether sniping with precision or suppressing enemy movement with a beefy LMG.

3. Shoot from the hip: On a map this size, you’ll often find yourself face to face with the enemy. Shoot from the hip to dish out damage right away; in Gunsmith, try selecting attachments that improve your weapon’s hipfire spread to help your panic shots hit the mark.

Advanced Map Tips

Back It Up — Alpha (A)

Nuketown 2025 is a constant forward march into the action, but sometimes it’s worth letting the action come to you. When there’s movement in either Yard, get behind the fences and attack from the rear. Many players will be too busy checking the House and Garage, so you can get the jump on them.

RC-XD Shortcut — Beta (B)

The RC-XD Scorestreak fits right through the holes in the fence on either side of the map. Look for them on the north side of the Yard. The holes lead to a path with a ramp jump that curves around to the opposite Yard. Equip the Infantry Sensors Overclock ability to spot enemies on the other side of the fence ahead of time.

Special Delivery — Gamma (Γ)

The moving truck offers an island of cover in the otherwise open Cul De Sac. There’s not much room inside, but with a Shotgun or SMG, you can rule the immediate area. In objective modes where the capture point sits nearby, use the truck to get up close, ambushing enemies before they have a chance to get away.
