Deploy to a nautical drilling platform extracting essential resources for Guild projects. Blackheart’s lanes force tightknit skirmishes in and around the central rotating drill. Duke it out on the barge, flank enemies around the diving bell, and keep your legs above the rotating teeth of the grinder pit.
1. Leg day: Blackheart offers multiple opportunities for agile Operators, from crossing over the Grinder Pit to reaching the high ledge by the Diving Bell. Look for opportunities to put your movement skills to the test to get the edge on the enemy team.
2. The hunt is on: Equip the Hunter’s Instinct Perk to mark the direction of the next closest enemy after landing an elimination, a great way to reveal targets otherwise hidden amongst the bulky obstacles found along the Barge and Seabed Mining Vehicle.
3. Cover and move: Stick with a teammate or two when moving up the map, swapping between cover fire and forward movement. If an enemy launches an ambush, you’ll have a better chance of cutting the attack short or at least getting revenge for your fallen teammate.
From the Barge side, take aim from behind the crates stacked up against the “Stand Clear” platform. You’ll have a straight shot down the lane toward the opposite vantage point without being exposed to the comms room or the curved path behind the Diving Bell.
Timing a jump through the rotating Drill platform is difficult enough when balanced against ongoing combat in the area. Use this to your advantage by planting a Blast Trap in the center, catching enemy targets who rush through without checking their surroundings.
