by Call of Duty Staff on October 12, 2018

Specialists are back and they're as lethal as ever. Doesn’t matter if your thing is speed, support, rushing or tactics; there’s a Specialist that should suit your needs with abilities specifically designed to maximize your impact on a match.

Battery. Demo Expert.
Weaponry: War Machine
Equipment: Cluster Grenade

Generally, people don’t call you a ‘demo expert’ without really earning it. Armed with a tossable cluster grenade and a launcher – fittingly called ‘War Machine’ – that fires bouncing grenades, Battery can clear an area of enemies quicker than anybody.

Ajax. Breacher.
Weaponry: Ballistic Shield
Equipment: 9-Bang

Pushing through to a ‘B’ Domination point full of camped-out defenders isn’t for the faint of heart and, lucky for you, Ajax’s heart works just fine in the heat of the moment. Is that confidence due to his ballistic shield equipped with a built-in machine pistol? Maybe. Could be the concussion grenade. Probably a bit of both.

Firebreak. Area Denial.
Weaponry: Purifier
Equipment: Reactor Core

Firebreak’s gasmask isn’t for just intimidation – although, that’s a nice side-effect. It’s because his Purifier ruthlessly hurls flames at opponents and those flames can really cloud-up a room. Adding to the need for a mask is his Reactor Core which emits a radiation field that damages enemies and lowers their maximum health for the rest of their current life. Watch your six, the Area Denier has logged on.

Nomad. Ambush.
Weaponry: K9-Unit
Equipment: Mesh Mine

Nomad's K-9 Unit pal wreaks havoc by following him around or patrolling an area. When you’re looking for enemies around a corner, you rarely expect furry, four-legged friend. And, if the dog don’t get ya, the tactical Mesh Mines surely will. You can surround yourself with these things and essentially turn an enclosed area into a self-detonating killbox for aggressive enemies. One step into the sensor and, boom. Ambushed.

Recon. Intel Operator.
Weaponry: Vision Pulse
Equipment: Sensor Dart

You know what makes taking down enemies a helluva lot easier? Knowing where they are. Recon doesn’t truck with flashy explosives or devastating weapons, but his Vision Pulse can mark enemies through walls and his Sensor Dart pulses out a signal that spots all activity in its radius. Intel wins wars. Recon wins matches.

Ruin. Rusher.
Weaponry: Grav Slam

If you like to play fast, you’d best get acquainted with Ruin’s Grav Slam/Grapple Gun/curated mohawk trifecta. The Grapple is Ruin’s efficient way to get from one place to another without touching the ground and, once he’s there, the Grav Slam destroys any enemies within the area.

Seraph. Tactician.
Weaponry: Annihilator
Equipment: Tac-Deploy

The bottom half of Seraph's face stays covered because she lets her skills do most of the talking. Her Tac-Deploy allows your teammates to spawn wherever you like. Having trouble holding down ‘B’ in Dominaton? Not when your entire team can spawn right next to it. Just die and come back moments later right where you need to be. And, once you spawn, the slow-loading, but deadly Annihilator dishes out one-shot kills with ease. Choose your spawn. Pick your targets. Drop ‘em.
