Season 02 Reloaded: Incoming Intel

As Alden Dorne and The Guild continue their offensive in Avalon, a new inroad to the city appears. Prepare for the highly anticipated Black Ops Royale, arriving shortly after the Mid-Season launch, supporting 100 players looting from scratch and fighting to be the last squad standing.
Season 02 Reloaded brings a wealth of new content across all modes, including additional maps and modes for Multiplayer and Zombies, the arrival of Glitch Fractures and Nightmare Skills in Endgame, and an abundance of Weapons, Blueprints, Operator Skins and more unlocked across Mid-Season Events and Weekly Challenges.
ENDGAME CONTENT SUMMARY
Enter the Glitch Fracture: Defeat Strike Bosses in Nightmare Zones throughout Avalon to spawn a Glitch Fracture to an off-map arena challenging squads with multiple waves of incoming enemies, culminating in an intense battle against the Glitch Boss within.
Acquire Nightmare Skills: Defeat a Glitch Boss and push your Operator’s specialization even further with the addition of Nightmare Skills.
Exotic Fabricator: Dying for an Exotic Weapon that perfectly matches your playstyle? Hunt down the Exotic Fabricator to upgrade any Loadout or Field Acquisition weapon to Exotic rarity, letting players build their own Exotic Weapons that grow more powerful with repeated visits.
Introducing Glitch Fractures
Nightmare Zones remain a threat throughout Avalon as Alden Dorne continues detonating Cradle stockpiles. The high-intensity hotspots created in the aftermath of each Strike challenge even the most hardened Operators with areas that are more difficult than current Tier IV zones.
As The Guild ramps up their attacks, a new feature arrives within the Nightmare Zones. Squads who track down and eliminate the Strike Boss within will now reveal the location of a Glitch Fracture, an off-map experience that pulls you and your squad into a section of corrupted C-Link data. Squad members who have not defeated the Strike Boss to reveal the location will be given the opportunity to join any squad member that initiates a vote to enter the Glitch Fracture.
Once revealed, the Glitch Fracture appears on the map permanently and can be replayed at will. Survive the multiple escalating waves within, defeat the Glitch Boss, and gain access to a powerful Nightmare Skill.
Nightmare Skills
When a Glitch Fracture is revealed after defeating the Strike Boss in a Nightmare Zone, this is your chance to fight for a new and powerful Nightmare Skill. Make it past the waves of enemies within the Glitch Fracture to take on the Glitch Boss to acquire one of the following Nightmare Skills:
Skill Track: Nightmare Skills
Highly powerful skills acquired by completing a Glitch. Operators can equip and upgrade one Nightmare Skill.
Nova Strike: Melee Strikes have a chance to generate an electrical field that damages enemies.
- First Upgrade: When the electrical area is created, the struck enemy is also Shocked.
- Final Upgrade: The electrical area persists briefly and Shocks enemies who pass through it (with a cooldown).
Phoenix Burst: When at low health, trigger an explosion that damages enemies and fully restores health (with a cooldown).
- First Upgrade: After the explosion, gain full ammo and temporarily infinite ammo from the magazine.
- Final Upgrade: After the explosion, gain temporary immunity.
Hellwing: Wingsuiting over enemies drops an incendiary trail on them.
- First Upgrade: Increases how long the incendiary trail remains on the ground.
- Final Upgrade: Flashbangs normal and Special enemies within the incendiary area.
Chaos Rounds: Weapon attacks have a chance to trigger Photon, Incendiary, Frost, or Shock effects.
- First Upgrade: Can also trigger Graviton, Mortar, Shrapnel, and Neuro-Disruption effects.
- Final Upgrade: Enemies hit by Chaos Rounds have a chance to trigger a random Chaos Round on nearby enemies.
Frost Vortex: Bullets have a chance to create a Snowstorm that pulls in enemies.
- First Upgrade: Applies Frost to normal enemies in the Snowstorm.
- Final Upgrade: Also applies Frost to Special and Elite enemies in the Snowstorm.
Each Operator can equip and upgrade one Nightmare Skill. If your Operator already has a Nightmare Skill equipped, you can choose from the following actions:
- Upgrade the currently equipped Nightmare Skill.
- Replace the currently equipped Nightmare Skill.
Exotic Fabricator
Need a leg up on the competition? Especially when facing the new Mid-Season Glitch Boss, you’ll want the most powerful weapons available. Now, for the first time, Operators have the chance to turn their favorite weapons into Exotic Weapons, pumping out high damage to help take down even the toughest enemies.
The Exotic Fabricator is rewarded for defeating a Strike Boss within a Nightmare Zone. Use the machine to upgrade any Loadout or Field Acquisition weapon to a full Exotic Weapon.
- The first upgrade will upgrade a weapon to Exotic Rarity and damage.
- The second upgrade will provide an additional Utility Bonus.
- The third upgrade will provide a random Exotic Effect.
If you have fully upgraded a weapon to Exotic or have a named Exotic Weapon, you may choose to re-roll either the Bonus Utility or the Exotic Effect. Through repeated visits, Operators can work toward perfecting their Exotic Weapon to contain the exact traits they’re looking for. Each Exotic Fabricator can only be used once, so plan accordingly.
Black Ops 7: Season 02 Reloaded Multiplayer
MULTIPLAYER CONTENT SUMMARY
Five Maps: Deploy to a twisted remix of The Battle of Los Angeles in the new Torque 6v6 map and drop into the 6v6 Cliff Town, first seen in Black Ops 2 as “Yemen” and reimagined as a cliffside town in Avalon. For large-scale battle, hit up Mission: Peak, the latest addition to the 20v20 Skirmish mode. And returning from Black Ops 6, hail the return of Grind and Firing Range.
New Modes: In the new Gauntlet mode, prove your abilities no matter the mode as teams fight for victory across five different game modes played one after the other. For fans of Party Games, Infected returns in the Mid-Season; infect everyone or survive to the end to win.
New Scorestreak: Lock on and unload as the Lockshot Scorestreak arrives in the Mid-Season, offering a low-cost smart gun capable of targeting multiple targets for swift group eliminations.
Torque
Brand-New, 6v6, 2v2 Small-Sized
Launch into a breakneck pursuit across this map reminiscent of The Battle of Los Angeles from Black Ops 2. Fight around abandoned vehicles while spotting Wall Jump paths over towering piles of wreckage and spiraling freeway sections jutting into the sky.
Storm the Acropolis National Bank for tight, close-quarters firefights, or slip along the slim ledge behind it to reach the tilted roadway, where overturned vehicles form platforms spanning a massive gap. In this warped, larger-than-life setting, the rules are out the window; stay sharp and be ready for anything.
Cliff Town
Remaster, 6v6, Medium-Sized
Drop into a dense urban Multiplayer experience, originally introduced in Black Ops 2 as “Yemen” and now re-envisioned as a cliffside town in Avalon that preserves the spirit of the original design. Anticipate a mix of tight alleyways, raised sightlines, and constricted chokepoints that favor both bold advances and smart tactical play.
Fight for every inch around the central crevasse and the buildings circling it, creating combat zones where multiple playstyles intersect, turning every rooftop duel and flanking maneuver into a standout moment.
Mission: Peak
Brand-New Skirmish Map, 20v20
Prepare for an all-new 20v20 Skirmish experience expanding Multiplayer with another large map clash. Battle to secure High Value Sectors scattered through winding medieval streets, all connected by a central, curving roadway, while keeping an eye out for snipers perched atop terracotta rooftops.
Nearly half of the map’s outer edge is surrounded by water, allowing for amphibious tactics with the help of Tactical Rafts, a compact harbor, and fishery warehouses set along the rocky shoreline beneath the main village. Down there, intense close-quarters fighting erupts from building to building, adding another layer to the intense action.
Grind
Returning from Black Ops 6, 6v6, Medium-Sized
Originally introduced in Black Ops 2, the iconic skatepark makes its comeback in the Mid-Season update. Engage enemies inside the park itself and the adjacent pro shop or move outside to the sprawling skate bowl and towering halfpipe, where long sightlines and layered verticality keep the action flowing.
Leverage the ramps and shifting elevations to gain the upper hand, string together smooth eliminations, and create epic plays, especially with the added Wall Jump routes that open new paths across spaces you’ve long had to run through.
Firing Range
Returning from Black Ops 6, 6v6, Small-Sized
The fan-favorite Firing Range makes its return in its Black Ops 6 iteration, joining the Black Ops 7 map rotation with Wall Jumps introduced to the layout for the first time. Intense crossfire dominates the central Road where Operators compete to lock down critical sightlines like the Tower and the upper floors of the Shoot House and Garage.
Behind the Office and in other spots around the map, moving targets slide along their rails, drawing attention as you seek out your next fight. If you prefer a more indirect route, veer away from the middle and take the Dirt Road instead, keeping your guard up for surprise attacks as you move past the Storage building.
Multiplayer Modes
Season 02 Reloaded brings new Playlists, Moshpits, and a Party Game to Black Ops 7 Reloaded, including the following new and returning modes:
Gauntlet
New Mode
Show what you’re made of in the new Gauntlet mode, pitting two six-player teams against one another in a round of five different game modes played one after the other including Domination, Kill Confirmed, Hardpoint, Team Deathmatch, and Roulette, a high risk vs. reward mode where players fight over control of an Akimbo Hand Cannon. The devastating weapon inflicts massive damage, at the risk of blowing up in your Operator’s hands, dropping the weapon for the next Operator to pick up.
Each mode lasts two minutes, immediately moving from one to the next once the timer counts down to zero. Teams are awarded points after each mode ends, based on their performance in that mode. The team with the highest Score at the end of all five modes wins the match. Do you have what it takes to excel no matter the mode? Now’s your chance to prove it.
Infected
Returning Mode
The fan-favorite Infected Party Game returns! Face off against the Infected horde or join them and eliminate the remaining survivors to win.
A single player is randomly chosen to start as the Infected following the match countdown. The infected player’s goal is to eliminate the remaining Survivors, adding to the ranks of the Infected with each fallen Operator. To make matters worse, the Infected are joined by additional undead enemies, increasing the number of swarming Infected. This time, the Infected can earn one of two Mutant Injection Scorestreaks to up their offense against the Survivors, transforming into a Mangler or Disciple to wreak havoc on the living.
As an Operator, use your given weapons, Equipment, and Scorestreaks to outlast the horde at all costs. Survive until the end to declare victory for humanity.
Additional Loadout Content
A sleek smart pistol that locks onto multiple targets when ADS. A single trigger pull eliminates all locked targets in quick succession. Cannot be countered by Perks. Unlocks via Weekly Challenge.
Why waste time targeting a single enemy at a time when you can bundle them up for a swift group elimination? Wield the Lockshot smart gun to mark multiple targets for imminent demise.
Overclock Abilities
- Multi-Lock: Adds one round to the magazine, allowing you to lock onto one additional enemy.
- Quick-Lock: Reduces enemy lock-on time.
New Multiplayer Events
See the Events section later in this blog for a complete run-down of all Season 02 Reloaded Events that include Multiplayer participation. For now, here is the Event specifically related to Black Ops 7 Multiplayer:
- Ranked Series Event: Win Ranked Play matches to climb a 50-player Ladder against players in your current Rank. Earn Camo and Emblem rewards based on your final placement, with extra rewards including a Weapon Charm accessed through Event Win Challenges.
The higher your placement, the greater the rewards you’ll earn when the event ends.
Black Ops 7 Zombies: Season 02 Reloaded
ZOMBIES CONTENT SUMMARY
New Round-Based Zombies Map: After losing two of his Shadowsmiths, The Warden traps the crew in a temporal prison. Fight through a surreal, seemingly inescapable time loop, seeking any means possible to escape The Warden’s grasp.
New Enemy and Wonder Weapon: Paradox Junction unleashes the explosive Rad-Hound, a fast-moving threat that detonates in radioactive clouds on death. Meanwhile, major firepower is here as the Blundergat returns, shredding hordes with quad-barreled force. Upgrade to the Sundergat to rip souls free, unleash charged Purges, or fire a focused Exile beam that tears through anything in its path.
New Features: Paradox Junction brings back the Electro Shock Trap, crackling coils that stun and sear the undead. Expect grotesque Loot Cysts to burst with helpful items, randomized Perk Machines across timelines, and a Main Quest packed with XP and rewards. Cursed ups the challenge, and there are new Pack-a-Punch Camos to unlock.
GobbleGum, Scorestreak, and Paradox Junction Events: Season 02 Reloaded adds the Lockshot Scorestreak, a smart pistol that marks and eliminates multiple targets in a single pull, plus the “Turncoat” GobbleGum to charm nearby zombies into temporary allies. Weekly Challenges, Event Pass rewards, and more will round out the undead offerings.
“Don’t worry. It ain’t your time…”
Caltheris may be free, but the crew’s fate is anything but certain. Dragged beneath the sands of Mars and stranded beyond time, they now operate under the Warden’s watchful eye.
“Seems folk need reminding who’s the boss around here…”
A simulacrum, hidden within the brooding skies, spits out the crew into a looped reality. Two manifestations of the same cursed landscape.
Paradox Junction: Where Time Becomes a Loop
After the initial terror and bewilderment subsides, Paradox Junction seems to be a purgatorial pitstop where the Warden’s influence is strong enough to extend outward, manipulating time itself. Secrets of the past and portents of the future combine into two variants of the same hellscape.
As you explore Paradox Junction, you’ll be flitting between the past (intact) and a possible future (obliterated). Throughout a match, you can move between these worlds automatically via round progression, or via a cracked, golden portal if you have the Essence to spend to warp time manually...
Paradox Junction: New Enemy: Rad-Hound
As vicious as they are explosive, when a pack of these irradiated dogs is summoned, expect a relentless attack!
Bulging with irradiated innards, these foul minions of The Warden can be quelled with quick thinking and rapid firing, but they leave behind a dangerous radioactive explosion on death.
Paradox Junction: Wonder Weapon: Blundergat & Sundergat
Mastery Badges Available for this Weapon
If you’ve previously mowed down mobs of the dead, you may be well-versed with the brutal, quadruple-barreled firepower available from this ornate and archaic omni-shotgun!
In its initial form, the Blundergat rips the undead apart with uncanny ease. In its entirely new upgraded “Sundergat” form, the Wonder Weapon’s projectiles become so potent, this otherworldly blunderbuss can blast the “souls” right out of enemies!
Blundergat Offensive Capabilities
Think of the Blundergat as a potent shotgun with four barrels. A single shot fires all barrels, with pellets blasting out in a horizontal spread rather than a radial one. The damage is massive, the ammo reserves are impressive, and the critical multiplier is potent. Pack-a-Punch the weapon and watch as the damage multiplier soars even more.
Sundergat Offensive Capabilities
After certain unspeakable criteria have been achieved, the Blundergat can be transformed into the “Sundergat” variant with devastating firepower that rips both the physical and metaphysical parts of its enemies apart! The Sundergat also features a charging mechanic which, if you time it right, releases an awe-inspiring beam of pure pulverization!
Sundergat: Soul Wrencher: Although zombies are undead, soulless beings, they are empowered by an energy that enables them to stagger, shamble, maul, and devour. The Sundergat wrenches this energy out of foes it strikes in a blast more powerful than the basic Blundergat. After a fatal blow is inflicted, the foe slumps forward, and keen-eyed crew members may see vaguely human (or hound) shaped cloud of ectoplasm fly up and out of the body before slowly dissipating into oblivion.
Sundergat: Sunder Purge: Instead of normal firing, you can choose to expend additional ammunition, charge the weapon, building up a blast with an additional conical area of effect, which — in addition to normal and soul-expelling damage — has the added benefit of knocking down zombies struck by it.
Sundergat: Sunder Exile: An alternate way to release a charged-up Sundergat attack is the exile strike. In addition to the usual widespread blast, and the conical Purge area of effect, this apex attack releases a long, narrow beam of focused energy. Anything caught in this shearing ray is torn asunder.
Paradox Junction: Electro Shock Trap
Those encountering the undead in a previous existence may be familiar with the Electro Shock Trap, a nasty device built to cause searing damage to the unwary and the undead. A trap consisting of tesla coils is positioned in a housing embedded into a door lintel, and providing a proximity switch is thrown, and currency expended, the trap sparks into life. Bolts of electricity crackle and shoot from the coils to the ground, sometimes stunning lesser foes, and creating a vomit-inducing stench after the cooking subsides.
Paradox Junction: Loot Cysts
Revolting sacs of a pulsating skin-like substance seem to wriggle and spasm, occasionally spewing out a glowing, irradiated fluid. Some appear to have a mouth, though that’s hopefully just a trick of the light.
Paradox Junction: Randomized Perk Placement
Time-bending tribulations even extend to the Perk Machines you encounter across Paradox Junction. At the start of each match, each predetermined machine location in the past and future variants of Nuketown spawns a random machine, with the exception of Quick Revive. Missing a Perk Machine? Then seek Der Wunderfizz for the full selection!
Paradox Junction: New Main Quest, Quest Rewards, and Challenges
The Main Quest for Paradox Junction becomes available when the map releases with Season 02 Reloaded on March 11. Complete the Main Quest to earn the following:
- A new Blundergat Wonder Weapon Skin, Calling Card, and 10,000 XP.
- Complete Paradox Junction Mastery Challenge for another Calling Card and 5,000 XP.
- Obtain the necessary Intel — Audio Logs, Documents, and Artifacts — to earn a third Calling Card and another 10,000 XP.
- Players who complete the Main Quest before Directed Mode arrives for this map will also earn a unique Calling Card variant.
Paradox Junction: Cursed
With no guidance at all, along with limited HUD and a starting Pistol, you’re able to uncover further secrets while hunting down new Cursed Relics after completing the map’s Main Quest.
New Pack-a-Punch Camos!
Further investigations into Paradox Junction may yield a new selection of Pack-a-Punch camos to unlock. Examples are shown above, and some are downright devilish to obtain! Remember you can opt to cover your weapons in any PAP Camo you’ve previously unlocked during your explorations of Ashes of the Damned and Astra Malorum.

Paradox Junction Zombies Event: Earn a variety of GobbleGums, and themed rewards including a Weapon Charm, Weapon Blueprint, Emblem, and two Weapon Camos (one Animated), where your high score playing Paradox Junction determines your standing. Here’s what you can expect to earn:
- GobbleGums: Wonderbar!, Reign Drops, Support Group, Modified Chaos, Wall Power (x2), Quacknarok, and Turncoat.
- Weapon Camos: “Citizens” (Animated) and “Outreach”.
- Emblem: “Welcome Home”.

Introducing Black Ops Royale: Start from scratch and loot up in Avalon with the arrival of Black Ops Royale, a new Battle Royale mode inspired by Blackout. Drop in, scavenge for upgrades, and fight to be the last squad standing.
New Gameplay Features: Rethink your strategies with a new Perks Refresh for Momentum, Berserker, and Hunter in Battle Royale and Resurgence. In Black Ops Royale, look out for a host of returning features and lootable items bringing the classic Blackout inspired gameplay to the new Mid-Season mode.
Weekend LTM: Kick up the pace of your Resurgence matches with Extreme Resurgence.
Call of Duty’s original Battle Royale experience returns with the arrival of Black Ops Royale, bringing the intensity of the original mode to Call of Duty: Warzone with modern updates and modifications. This is a free-to-play Battle Royale experience with new rules influenced by the original Blackout, including no starting Loadouts, no Gulag, and no Buy Stations.
Up to 100 players will wingsuit into Avalon with one goal: be the last team standing. Hit the ground running and start scavenging weapons and other resources while engaging enemy players and staying within the collapsing circle that shrinks the field of battle throughout the match.

Other Modes: New Gameplay Features
Customize your playstyle with three new Perks for Battle Royale and Resurgence in addition to adjustments to the Ghost Perk and the UAV economy.
New Perks and Updates
Season 02 Reloaded introduces a refresh of three Perks across Slots 2 and 3, designed to reward weapon momentum, aggressive follow-ups, and enhanced enemy tracking.
Momentum (Perk Slot 2)
Replaces Alertness
Movement-Enhancing Perk: Momentum is built for close-quarters Operators who survive while staying mobile. This Perk improves acute combat motions in tight spaces while improving weapon handling to get the jump on foes and follow through accurately.
Benefit from improved close-quarters weapon handling, reduced consecutive jump penalties, reduced fire delay when sliding, reduced hip fire spread, increased ADS movement speed, and faster crouch and prone speeds.
Berserker (Perk Slot 2)
Replaces Bomb Squad
Movement-Enhancing Perk: Berserker rewards aggression with deftness. After eliminating an enemy player, gain a short burst of enhanced action speed, allowing you to chain engagements and reposition quickly before opponents can respond. During this window, common combat actions — including Equipment use, weapon swaps, reloading, stance changes, and armor plating — are significantly faster, giving you flexibility to react based on the situation.
Berserker also grants increased flinch resistance, helping you stay on target under fire, and reduces visual obstructions when at low health, preserving clarity during critical moments. It’s an ideal choice for players who push fights and capitalize on momentum after every elimination.
Hunter (Perk Slot 3)
Replaces Tracker
Awareness-Enhancing Perk: Enhance tracking, situational awareness, and enemy detection with this Perk combining the advantages of Alertness and Tracker, helping your squad hunt down even the most evasive foes. Benefit from several combat-enhancing improvements including briefly outlining and seeing the footprints of enemies damaged by your bullets, sensing enemies within 30 meters of your position, and sensing when you’re being aimed at.
This Perk is designed for players who hunt, track, and anticipate enemy movement rather than react to it.
Additional Perk and Equipment Adjustments
The following adjustments are intended to reinforce information as a strategic investment while preserving the value of stealth-focused Perks.
Ghost Perk Adjustment: Stay hidden from enemy UAVs and other intel gathering devices for a longer period of time with this buff that ends the Ghost grace period after 5 seconds, up from 1.5 seconds.
Weekend LTM: Extreme Resurgence
Compete in a new Weekend LTM arriving in the Mid-Season:
Extreme Resurgence
Quads, 100 Players, Haven’s Hollow
Drop into Haven’s Hollow with nearly double the player count compared to normal Resurgence rules. Everything else in the match works as you’d expect it to, but there are a whole lot more squads to contend with while traversing the map. Stick together, work the odds in your favor, and survive to the end.
New Call of Duty: Warzone-related Events

The Voyak KT-3 downs unarmored enemies in four to five shots, exhibiting an upward kick through sustained fire. Unique to the weapon is a digital readout displaying the distance in meters of the current target in your crosshairs. Use this info to try and keep enemies within 25 meters, unleashing the maximum amount of damage.
With the fastest reload quickness in its weapon class, alongside other great handling statistics, the Voyak KT-3 is ideal for frontline combat where every millisecond counts.

Weapon Camos are also awarded for various levels of placement, plus players can earn a Weapon Charm for winning 10 Ranked Play matches throughout the Event and more. Note these Event Camos are in addition to the Weapon Camos you earn during normal Ranked Play.
Event: Warzone Ranked Series (WZ)

Show your dominance in Resurgence Ranked Play with the first Call of Duty: Warzone Ranked Series Event. Keep grinding on those Weekly Challenges throughout the Mid-Season. Now’s the time to finish the Seasonal Camo Challenges, including the “Sword of Swords” Universal Animated Camo unlocked after unlocking four Weekly Rewards and the “Canine Havoc” Universal Animated Camo unlocked after unlocking eight Weekly Rewards.
