The Hunt is on. Makarov himself has been spotted in a convoy headed deep into the jungle, and it’s your job to hunt him down. Welcome to The Hunt, the latest Season for Call of Duty: Mobile.

The Hunt is now live and packed with new content, including new modes and maps, a new perk and Operator Skill, a new Battle Royale class, and of course a whole heap of new earnable rewards.

Read on for an overview of the highlights in the latest Season for Call of Duty: Mobile.

Earn More Rewards in The Hunt Battle Pass

The Hunt adds a new Battle Pass system with 50 tiers of free and Premium content including new characters, weapon blueprints, weapon charms, a new Operator Skill, a new weapon, and more. Here are some of the rewards to look forward to:

Battle Pass Free Tiers

Once players complete Tier 14, all players will earn the new Equalizer Operator Skill — pull out dual SMGs and shred your enemies in a hail of fire. Progress to Tier 21 to unlock the Echo shotgun, a new functional weapon that features continuous fire and a large magazine for sustained burst damage at close range. Other free tier highlights include the rare HS0405 – Forest Floor (Tier 31) and M16 – Forest Floor (Tier 41), plus the Safety First weapon charm at Tier 46.

Premium Pass Tiers

Purchase the Battle Pass for the chance to earn all of the content available in The Hunt stream. Get equipped right at the start with Mara, the epic GKS – Scion and the Black Widow weapon charm unlocked at Tier 1. Progress through the tiers to unlock epic weapon skins like the RPD – Carnivorous at Tier 20 and the XPR-50 – Arachnophobia at Tier 40. At Tier 50, unlock the Echo – Demon Eyes and the menacing Mace – Tombstone skin. Flex your Battle Pass completion with the legendary Calling Card – Fatal Attraction.

New Multiplayer Mode: Headquarters

The classic Multiplayer mode Headquarters joins the ever-expanding list of supported game modes! If you’re new to Headquarters, the premise is simple: two teams compete for the designated HQ, which will rotate through fixed points around the map. Once a team takes over, they must defend the HQ to accumulate points. Unlike the similar Hardpoint, defenders do not respawn on death.

When the attacking team destroys the HQ, it rotates to another section of the map after a brief delay, though it cannot be immediately occupied — a timer will countdown on the HUD indicating how long until the HQ activates. Once that happens, get in there and take the point.

Test Your Might in Hardcore

A staple of the Call of Duty® series, Hardcore is now live on Call of Duty: Mobile with support for Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, and Headquarters.

Hardcore strips the game to its bones in a challenging variant where weapons inflict greater damage, players don’t regenerate health, and the HUD is limited. There’s no killcam either, so you’ll have to find that hidden sniper yourself. Finally, watch your fire and don’t take down your teammates — if you shoot or damage your teammates in any way, you will instead take that damage. Mistakes are sometimes made so you won’t be immediately penalized with reflective fire, however, just know this mode is not for the faint-hearted.

New Multiplayer Map: Terminal

The iconic Multiplayer map Terminal from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2is now available for play on Call of Duty: Mobile! Terminal is a medium sized map where the fighting takes place in and around the airport terminal.

Equip a long-ranged weapon and take up position in the diner or unlock and equip the new Echo shotgun to dominate enemies attempting to board the plane. Keep your eyes open for ladders and other climbable objects to get the height advantage. It’s not just gun skill but smart movement that wins matches on this map.

Check out our Mobile Map Snapshot: Terminal article for an in-depth guide, whether you’re an old hand or you’re deploying to Terminal for the first time.

New Gunfight Map: Pine

Keep your head on a swivel and watch those towers. Fans of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will feel right at home in Pine, the latest map to join the Gunfight rotation.

Race for the watchtowers for an overview of the scene below or take the middle path directly toward the enemy spawn. Whatever you do, work with your teammate and don’t be afraid to use your mic. On this densely forested map, attacks can come from any angle, so call out those enemy positions and close in on them like a vice.

Unlock the High Alert Perk in a New Seasonal Challenge

With a new Season comes new Seasonal Challenges stacked with a variety of rewards, including the new High Alert perk. This one will probably save your life on many occasions. While using High Alert, your HUD will flash a yellow border effect toward enemies targeting you outside of your immediate view. Enemy attempting a flank? I don’t think so.

Watch for the High Alert perk to pop up in the Vigilance Seasonal Challenge later this Season on September 17 PT.

New Battle Royale Class: Hacker

Earnable through a late Season Featured Event, the new Hacker class is sure to appeal to players who like to mess with the enemy’s intel while keeping their own secure.

Activate the Hacker’s Ice Pick ability to momentarily black out the mini-maps of all nearby enemies, while pinging your own mini-map with their location. While they’re flying blind, you go in for the kill. They’ll be sorely mistaken if they try and do the same — the Hacker’s passive ability, Hard Wired, protects your mini-map from interference. Whatever the situation, the Hacker is an invaluable asset to any Battle Royale team.

Coming Soon: Hunt for Makarov Event

Makarov must be stopped, but first we’ve got to find him. We’ve got intel that he’s somewhere out in the jungle and there’s no time to waste.

Coming later this Season, Hunt for Makarov tasks players with earning search points by playing Multiplayer and Battle Royale. Spend these points to uncover different areas of the jungle map as you lead the search for the infamous villain. Earn a reward every time you uncover a new area, which then gives access to new explorable areas.

And this is just part of what you can experience in the new Season. There’s a whole lot more to explore and earn, but first things first: find Makarov.

It’s only a matter of time before we track him down. Get hunting, soldiers.
