Call of Duty XP is the premiere live fan experience for Call of Duty gamers at every skill level. Attendees will witness the global reveal of Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 3 multiplayer and get first crack at the title, which releases this November. Also debuting is Modern Warfare 3's new Spec Ops survival mode and the feature-complete version of Call of Duty® Elite. Ticketholders can participate in numerous gaming challenges and Call of Duty-inspired live action-experiences, and enjoy live musical performances from The Dropkick Murphys and superstar Kanye West. XP will also host the finals of the $1 Million Tournament presented by Activision and Xbox 360®.
The event will take place September 2nd and 3rd, 2011 at the Call of Duty XP compound, a massive installation in Playa Vista, California in the heart of Los Angeles. The compound address is 5600 Campus Center Drive, Playa Vista, California, 90094, USA.
Tickets are $150 each, with 100% of ticket sales going to the Call of Duty® Endowment a non-profit organization which seeks to help veterans find work and establish careers as they transition back to civilian life.
Every Call of Duty XP ticket is a two-day event pass that includes access to all presentations, gaming competitions, activities, developer panels, live entertainment and much more. All ticketholders will also receive a voucher for a free copy of Modern Warfare 3: Hardened edition upon release and an exclusive Call of Duty goodie bag. There are no single-day tickets for Call of Duty XP. Food and merchandise will be available onsite for an additional charge.
Thirty-two four-man teams will compete in a single-elimination bracket tournament for $1 million in cash and prizes. The top eight teams will be in the money, and the tournament will be contested in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer. Players may pre-qualify online in the U.S. and internationally by showcasing their skills in Call of Duty®: Black Ops. Four slots in the tournament bracket will be filled onsite at Call of Duty XP. Absolutely. Attendees of all skill levels may compete for prizes in a variety of free-for-all, king-of-the-hill, Zombies, Spec Ops and team-based multiplayer competitions. There is no additional cost to participate and you may play as often as you like.

Call of Duty XP takes place September 2nd and 3rd from 10am to 10pm both days. Entertainment and events are scheduled throughout. Most multiplayer gaming challenges and other activities run from 11am to 7:30pm.

The event features live performances both nights at 8pm. Celtic punk veterans The Dropkick Murphys will play on the XP main stage on Friday evening, and hip-hop legend Kanye West will headline on Saturday.
