Quartermaster Comms

2017 isn’t quite done with you yet and neither is the Quartermaster Comms. Captain Butcher’s time as your Quartermaster may be winding down, but his sacks of gear are just as overflowing as they’ve ever been. This week, we highlight a Rifle and a winter-ready Uniform.

Primary - M1941 'Jawbreaker'

It may not be a Winter Siege-exclusive, but the Jawbreaker is an elite hunk of firepower fit for all seasons. With crafted details extending to the tip of the barrel, this black and gold M1941 looks every bit the flashy automatic rifle it truly is. If your enemies aren’t blinded by the reflections off the shiny stock, they’ll surely be blinded by the best-in-class fire rate this Epic variant dishes out. As with any Epic, this one also deals an extra 10% XP bonus per kill and, with this thing in your loadout, you won’t be lacking for any of those.

Uniform - British Navy Officer 3rd Northumbrian

If you think the winter cold is too much, try it when you’re out on the open seas in a boat. That’s what the British Navy Officers were tasked with and that’s why the Epic 3rd Northumbrian Uniform fits every winter need. Outfitted with thick wool, the ‘R N’ staple of Her Majesty’s Navy and a pair of binoculars the size of Sherman tank, you’ll look the part of North England’s fightin’ 3rd. Pro tip: pairs well with the Ushanka for an extremely Winter-lookin’ soldier.

That’s it for this week’s Comms and for 2017. If you think the new year and the departure of Captain Butcher means the end of the Quartermaster Comms you’re gravely mistaken. Keep an eye out for the Call of Duty Newsletter for future editions highlighting the best gear and the best Contracts. If you missed last week’s, click below and get yourself up to speed.
