Ranked Play

For the final Season of Black Ops 7 Ranked Play, we're adding a Scoreboard and Rank Adjustment penalty for losses based on your position on the Scoreboard and how much of a higher rank you were compared to your opponents.

We’ve made significant changes to the Ranked Play SR System over the past few Seasons to make the system transparent and remove hidden elements that added confusion and unpredictability for players. Response to the changes has been promising, but we continue to tweak and evaluate the new system to ensure competitive integrity, especially in the higher Ranks. Season 06 introduces another update to the new Transparent SR System that will occasionally make losses more punishing for players to counter the SR inflation we’ve observed in higher Ranks. We’re looking forward to hearing your feedback on these changes and collect data as we look ahead to Ranked Play in MW4!

Scoreboard Adjustments

  • Players will lose an additional -10 to -40 SR if they lose a match and finish between 5th to 8th place

Opponent Rank Adjustments

  • Outscored a Higher Rank Player:
    • 3+ Rank Tiers higher: +20 SR
    • 6+ Rank Tiers Higher: +40 SR
  • Outscored a Lower Rank Player:
    • 3+ Rank Tiers lower: -20 SR
    • 6+ Rank Tiers lower: -40 SR

Maps

  • Added Exposure back to Ranked Play map pool.
