Out of all the buildings in West Verdansk, few compare to the complexity of the Verdansk Regional Airport Terminal. Move through here as a group, and you won’t lose each other or get picked off by team with better synergy.
Broadcast Tower is still under construction, making it easier to climb up than ever before. However, its claim to being the highest point in Downtown has been usurped by the crane next to it. Use this piece of construction equipment to get the ultimate high ground at the cost of exposure on all sides
The incredibly massive runway could be an extremely deadly area; not taking cover behind the dolosse and whatever else is scattered on it might leave you open to enemies in the Terminal or Control Tower. In other words, it’s best to clear the runway.
Multiple high ground spots within Krovnik Farmland – including the windmills – are inaccessible without a helicopter and a parachute. If the circle collapse is making this area a safe zone and you have a chopper, it could be a good idea to take up a position on one of these hard-to-get areas.
The Javdinsk Missile Silo is at a high elevation point. Whether you take to the cliffside or dare to dart across the hatch itself, this place may be a good rest stop and scouting point before heading off into the Military Base or Riverside.
Need to take out a squad who has a penthouse suite in Downtown? The JOKR launcher can target objects on the roof and deliver a powerful payload from the sky. Or, fight fire with fire by taking up residency on another rooftop.
Like other hatches around Verdansk, the Zozsni Hatch provides underrated verticality and views of the surrounding area – in this case, the Novi Grazna Hills. Use this landmark to situate yourself in Verdansk and also scout ahead for potential enemies.
Scrapyard will be familiar ground for Call of Duty veterans, which may make it a hotly contested area if it is part of the safe area. Prepare for close quarters combat within the fuselages, warehouses, and office… And don’t forget to check the catwalk of Scrapyard Warehouse 3, one that’s been a notorious sniper perch for decades.
The Control Tower gives by far the best view of the entire airport, and even areas of North Verdansk, but it may not take long for other squads to catch onto a sniper up here. Worst case scenario: parachute away from the airport, as there are fewer points of interest there, which may translate to fewer enemies.
Grandma’s House may feel familiar to some, and with that comes a tip they know too well: check its attic, as it may have a squad taking a breather in here after scavenging around the Salt Mine or Lozoff Pass.
