An underrated portion of the Airport are Runway Underpasses; their subterranean nature allows you to travel out of sight, and if a squad is trailing you, those multiple exits could leave them guessing.
From the Railyard, you can follow the rail tracks by heading southeast, and travel (ideally by vehicle) throughout the entire map, tracing the railroad, and stopping off at multiple destinations. This rail network can be very helpful when learning the geography of Verdansk.
Between Verdansk’s Train Station and Hospital is a wooded hillside with prime views of both locales. If your squad is looking for an unconventional way to get between these two major zones, or wants to do some scouting, head to these hills.
Verdansk Hospital’s Northwest Tower has the best high ground spot in the Southwest, allowing you to see over to Downtown, the Promenade, and points west. While up here, use the perimeter wall and hospital letters for cover, lest you end up in the ER.
From the hangars to the numerous broken planes, the Boneyard has no shortage of items despite being a dumping ground for scrap metal. Follow your Tac Map to see where Contract drops are and be meticulous when exploring the area.
The homes within the Novi Grazna Hills cul-de-sac could be a great landing spot, as there are multiple opportunities for items and easy access to the busier Barakett Promenade area. If you are fighting within this area, you could use the smoke from the helicopter to help conceal you from long-range fire.
The Verdansk Train Station also has another transit hub – a Bus Terminal – which may not be as popular as the sprawling station. With some scavenging opportunities here and in the Military Checkpoint, don’t hesitate to check this area before – or after – exploring the main Train Station.
If you are playing Plunder and need a place to bank some Cash that’s out of the way, there is a Cash Deposit Site within the dried-out river. While you may have to deal with snipers from the Summit, it’s pretty remote compared to one in more familiar locales or in a suburb, and nearby rocks and trees can offer some cover.
Compared to the rest of Krovnik Farmland, its Southern Farm section is like a small Suburb. Be sure to check every house for items – and enemies – and if you can take the risk, try climbing up on the water tower for an impressive view of the Farmland area.
The two Comms Towers are the highest points within the Military Base area. Although they come with a bit of risk, snipers who want to scout ahead for their squad should put both of these points of interest on their radar.
