The Skybridge windows can be shot through and broken, allowing you to do some scouting around the outside of the Hospital. However, because of these windows, you may also be more exposed than you think; be cautious of counter-snipers while up on the Skybridge
If you can grab a helicopter after building a sniping loadout, you could parachute up to the tallest gondola in the Ferris Wheel, which provides incredible views of the Promenade, Downtown, Tavorsk Park and the Hospital. Just be sure to pack a Self-Revive Kit when taking a ride on the Ferris Wheel, because if you go down, your squad may not be able to reach you for a revive.
Verdansk Hospital’s Northwest Tower has the best high ground spot in the Southwest, allowing you to see over to Downtown, the Promenade, and points west. While up here, use the perimeter wall and hospital letters for cover, lest you end up in the ER.
A tunnel on the west side of the Zordaya Prison Complex allows for discrete entry/exit point to the complex in multiple areas, such as the Gulag Showers and the main cell hub. If you’re looking to escape – or enter – the complex, try jumping into this tunnel.
Few points of interest are as complex as the Railyard, a network of warehouses with a massive Gravel Chute Tower as its landmark. Although it may take a while to learn every room, sightline, and route through the area, doing so will make you into a master of this popular area.
The watchtower in the woods north of Quarry has an incredible view of its northeastern section. If the collapse isn’t an issue and you like to snipe, consider finding it after you get a loadout that’s appropriate for extreme long-range combat.
Your parachute is your best friend when taking the high ground in Downtown. Remember that you can pull the chute if you are taking a potentially fatal plunge, and parachuting through the city could be one of the fastest modes of transportation.
From the Railyard, you can follow the rail tracks by heading southeast, and travel (ideally by vehicle) throughout the entire map, tracing the railroad, and stopping off at multiple destinations. This rail network can be very helpful when learning the geography of Verdansk.
The Zordaya Prison Complex Yard can hold valuable loot and even vehicles, but the guard towers and wall can house enemy sharpshooters. Be cautious when wandering out onto the yard, lest you be sent to the Gulag.
All Police Stations and Guns and Ammo Stores in Verdansk still have active ammo cache. Interacting with one will refill the ammunition type of the weapons you currently have on you, although this can only be done once per ammo cache.
