Anticipating trouble at the Dam? Head to the hills or even the Comms Tower near Bloc 23, which will not only give you a great sightline over to the Dam, but also nearly all of Verdansk.
Travelling out of Airport Maintenance or crossing the Gora Bridge? Double check the Hobo Carriage; it’s far away from more dense areas and could still have some leftover loot inside.
About to head into the Lumber Yard? It may be wise to send one of your squadmates up onto the Rock Promontory, which has fantastic views over the north part of Lumber Yard.
If you are the leading team in Plunder and need extra Cash, or want to avoid confrontation, consider exploring the far-flung areas of Verdansk away from the action. They could have unopened Supply Boxes or Contracts that could provide that final push without much confrontation.
If you have a vehicle, the Verdansk Highway system leads to nearly every major area on the map. If you don't, it may be wise to avoid the highways and proceed on foot on dirt trails, gulleys, or through dense forests, as you may be a sitting duck if you decide to play in highway traffic.
Krovnik Farmland features plenty of natural elements untouched by industry. It’s great to travel through with a vehicle, as there are fewer objects to hit, but when you’re on the run… Cover may be limited.
While the interior of the Stadium is currently inaccessible, the various gates that would lead into it have an underrated number of loot opportunities. Just be sure to use the security features and stadium architecture for cover, since Downtown Tavorsk skyscrapers have solid views of the Stadium’s southeast-facing side.
The Cliff Roads of Quarry may leave you completely exposed, but still has incredible views over the potential action down below. Just watch your six when you’re up here: you’ll have to set up some protection or a buddy behind you, as there isn’t a border to save you from a flank from the north.
The Gora and Karst Rivers are mostly a transitionary area, save for their Flood Gates, which can be a great place to take cover. Just be careful about climbing the ladders out of here; if you are planning on doing so, it may be wise to pack a pistol along for self-defense.
Travelling across the Military Base, especially when hopping from hangar to hangar, might be a daunting task on foot. Given how little cover there is on the roads and runway, using a vehicle around here isn’t a bad idea, and in some cases, you might just find one lying around on the base.
