SECTOR 1: VERDANSK NORTH ZONE 1A: GORA DAM, GORA TUNNEL, BLOC 17, BLOC 16

Travelling along the frozen Gora River? You may want to take cover within the Frozen Islands; they are pretty much your only source of cover when traversing down the river, which is on low ground compared to the surrounding areas.

SECTOR 4: VERDANSK CENTRAL AND SOUTH ZONE 4D: DOWNTOWN TAVORSK DISTRICT

Given the verticality of Downtown, use it to your advantage by coordinating team strategies around it. Maybe a teammate can take overwatch on a building and make callouts while the others travel on foot, or each team member takes a section of a building when sweeping for loot.

Planned Community Apartments

SECTOR 3: VERDANSK SOUTHWEST ZONE 3C: BARAKETT PROMENADE WEST

Because the various apartment buildings within the Barakett Promenade look the same, your squad may be confused if you tell them you are “in an apartment.” So, it may be good to ping the exact area you are in, or use the compass or surrounding points of interest as guideposts.

SECTOR 3: VERDANSK SOUTHWEST ZONE 3A: VERDANSK HOSPITAL

The front of the Hospital faces Downtown, where multiple building roofs look directly over to it. When travelling to and from this area, be mindful of potential snipers from the East.

Air Traffic (Tower) Control

SECTOR 2: VERDANSK WEST ZONE 2A: VERDANSK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

The Control Tower gives by far the best view of the entire airport, and even areas of North Verdansk, but it may not take long for other squads to catch onto a sniper up here. Worst case scenario: parachute away from the airport, as there are fewer points of interest there, which may translate to fewer enemies.

A Stroll Through the Park

SECTOR 4: VERDANSK CENTRAL AND SOUTH ZONE 4E: TAVORSK PARK AND STYOR SPOMENIK

If you aren’t in a building within the Tavorsk Park, you may be exposed to those that are. When roaming around the park, try finding natural cover, such as rocks, cliffs, and trees, as you escape to a safer area.

SECTOR 2: VERDANSK WEST ZONE 2D: STORAGE TOWN

Thirty-five self-storage garages are in Storage Town. Almost all of them have at least one garage door open… With their wares available to the first team who can collect them. Leave no storage locker unchecked in Storage Town, lest you miss out on some Legendary Loot.

Para-Chutes and Ladders

SECTOR 5: VERDANSK EAST ZONE 5C: KROVNIK FARMLAND

Multiple high ground spots within Krovnik Farmland – including the windmills – are inaccessible without a helicopter and a parachute. If the circle collapse is making this area a safe zone and you have a chopper, it could be a good idea to take up a position on one of these hard-to-get areas.

SECTOR 4: VERDANSK CENTRAL AND SOUTH ZONE 4D: DOWNTOWN TAVORSK DISTRICT

The skyscrapers may command your attention, but there is plenty of loot to be found in the smaller apartments and shops in Downtown. Don’t be afraid to stay at the ground level; you may just find what you need to complete your loadout.

Pulling Them Off the Air

SECTOR 1: VERDANSK NORTH ZONE 1E: CRASH SITE, LOZOFF PASS, BLOC 14, BLOC 15, WHP CAMP

The Switchbacks and Trails/Karst Transformer locations both have incredible sightlines over to the TV Station and Stadium, two main stops before hitting downtown. Given their obscurity, it may not be a bad idea to scout here prior to your assault on either locale.
