As we get set for the start of the new season of the Call of Duty® World League, we have an update on our first event, CWL Las Vegas Open.

The CWL Las Vegas Open has changed* and is now confirmed to include four European teams in the competition, with additional potential teams to be confirmed. Epsilon, Orbit, Splyce, and Team Infused will start in the Open Bracket, where they will contend for an opportunity to advance into Pool Play and the Championship double-elimination bracket. They join 156 North American teams in the largest MLG Call of Duty Open Bracket ever in what is shaping up to be a thrilling debut for Call of Duty®: Infinite Warfare competitive open play.

Catch the first Call of Duty World League event of the season as the CWL Las Vegas Open takes place December 16-18 from the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Competition team passes are sold out, but in-person spectator passes are still available. Please visit MLG.tv/Vegas for more details.

* While we hope everyone is excited about an even more competitive landscape to kick off the CWL, because of the change from a North America only event to including international teams by invitation to compete, teams who have already purchased a team pass have the opportunity to withdraw from this event and receive a team pass for a future MLG CWL open event taking place in the United States within the next 12 months.  Should you wish to withdraw from this event and redeem a pass for a future MLG CWL event please email leagueops@mlg.tv by 11:59PM EDT Friday 12/9/16.
