Call of Duty: Mobile 2021 World Championship FAQ

Will any competitors be traveling for Stage 5?

For the Western Finals, the qualifying teams from the Stage 4 European finals, Call of Duty: Mobile Masters Europe, and the teams located in Brazil from the Stage 4 Latin American Finals will travel to a centralized location in Mexico. Mexico was chosen for a variety of reasons, including its proximity to Call of Duty: Mobile central servers located in Mexico City, Mexico and Dallas, Texas, as well as in consideration of travel restrictions currently in place globally. Qualified teams residing in the United States, Canada, and Mexico will not be required to travel to the competition venue for Stage 5.

For the Eastern Finals, due to the current travel restrictions relating to COVID-19 in the region, we will not be permitting teams to travel. Servers for the Eastern Finals will be able to provide the best online competitive experience possible.

What COVID protocols will be followed?

All local and CDC guidelines will be enforced on location for the teams that travel. This includes, but is not limited to, PCR testing, temperature checks, social distancing, and daily PPE deliveries by staff. Additionally, all teams will be provided health and safety protocols detailing the procedures they are REQUIRED to follow prior, during, and after traveling to the event location.
