A collection of wooden pallets just outside the main warehouses can be an excellent place to sneak about and force close-quarters combat… Just don’t get stuck in here with an ATV, or you may have to abandon it.
If you can grab a helicopter after building a sniping loadout, you could parachute up to the tallest gondola in the Ferris Wheel, which provides incredible views of the Promenade, Downtown, Tavorsk Park and the Hospital. Just be sure to pack a Self-Revive Kit when taking a ride on the Ferris Wheel, because if you go down, your squad may not be able to reach you for a revive.
Unsure of where to start looting within the Verdansk Graveyard area? The nearby Pharmacy, Bank, and Police Station be a reliable stop during your campaign for an end game loadout. It’s not a bad idea to land here first, then spread out to the rest of the area.
There is another empty office just outside of what we all know as Vacant. This building provides excellent sightlines and could be a great counter-sniping position against a team that has taken control of the Vacant building area.
Cargo Processing has a single dead-end that could hold a surprise… And that surprise can be an enemy player. Be sure to double check this location when travelling through Port, preferably with an explosive or Tactical Grenade.
Verdansk Hospital’s Northwest Tower has the best high ground spot in the Southwest, allowing you to see over to Downtown, the Promenade, and points west. While up here, use the perimeter wall and hospital letters for cover, lest you end up in the ER.
The Cliff Roads of Quarry may leave you completely exposed, but still has incredible views over the potential action down below. Just watch your six when you’re up here: you’ll have to set up some protection or a buddy behind you, as there isn’t a border to save you from a flank from the north.
Although the Verdnask Processing Warehouse, as well as an Apartment and Office, are outside of the actual Verdansk Hospital, they are still a part of the Hospital area. If your squad is dropping in and seeing the Hospital fill up quickly, it’s not a bad idea to call an audible and land in either of these two locations.
It is possible to reach the top of every crane in Port, although it requires some parachuting. If you do, you’ll be rewarded with one incredible 360-degree sightline that goes from across the Karst River all the way to the Gulag.
The main area of Bloc 18 east of the Karst River has a few familiar locales: A Fire Station, Gun Store, and Police Station. If you’re searching for guaranteed ammo and other loot that could be a bit out of the way, look no further than here.
