Your parachute is your best friend when taking the high ground in Downtown. Remember that you can pull the chute if you are taking a potentially fatal plunge, and parachuting through the city could be one of the fastest modes of transportation.
Enjoying the Zhokov Boneyard? What about Port of Verdansk? Those locales, and more, also appear as maps in Ground War, a five flag objective Multiplayer game mode. If you're interested in studying up on multiple Warzone locations, consider getting the full version of Modern Warfare and playing Ground War.
The Verdansk Train Station also has another transit hub – a Bus Terminal – which may not be as popular as the sprawling station. With some loot opportunities here and in the Military Checkpoint, don’t hesitate to check this area before – or after – exploring the main Train Station.
The Superstore has multiple open shelves, both at ground level and above, which can make for some unique engagement opportunities. If you sense that an enemy is within the store, it doesn’t hurt to check every aisle, or use a tool that can give recon such as a UAV or Heartbeat Sensor.
Craving some close-quarters combat? Coax the enemy team to meet you in the Training Course, which is fairly cluttered and complex for being such a small footprint in Verdansk. Just watch out for any operators who may be refereeing from the watchtower.
Given the verticality of Downtown, use it to your advantage by coordinating team strategies around it. Maybe a teammate can take overwatch on a building and make callouts while the others travel on foot, or each team member takes a section of a building when sweeping for loot.
If you parachute from the Atlas Superstore – especially from the pitched roof – you can land on top of the roof sections in the Parking Lot. Here, you could get some unique high ground against enemies within the lot or that are checking out of the Superstore.
If you are playing Plunder and need a place to deposit some Cash that’s out of the way, there is a Cash Deposit Site right near the frozen river. While you may have to deal with snipers from the Dam, it’s pretty remote compared to one in more familiar locales or in a suburb.
The Atlas Superstore map in Modern Warfare Multiplayer does not have the same layout as the Atlas Superstore in Warzone. Don’t get confused on specifics, but your general knowledge of what type of fights work within the Superstore can still help you out.
The homes within the Novi Grazna Hills cul-de-sac could be a great landing spot, as there are multiple opportunities for loot and easy access to the busier Barakett Promenade area. If you are fighting within this area, you could use the smoke from the helicopter to help conceal you from long-range fire.
