So does it mean that I can prestige and NOT lose anything, but only gain?  I seriously fail to see why anyone would opt to have it all reset if it's merely an option, but that's just me (course now they only do it for graphics).

Makes sense, I'm just not in it for the superior k/d ratio as I will either suck terribly, suck not so terribly, or have a semi decent game from round to round.  So for me at least, it varies.  As we have all seen, you can go from earning a kill with 3 bullets to emptying the clip and its all from round to round and lobby to lobby. 

As for my question about everything reseting, thanks for answering.  It's the answer I wanted to hear and just wanted to make sure I understood Bowling correctly.  If prestiging simply means unlocking new stuff without losing anything, I'll actually do it.  (New emblems have not been worth losing my guns and pro level perks, sorry).

Its basicly two resets. Its one when you hit max leven/prestige and its one that jus reset the number of headshots deaths etc.
