"SORRY, AN UNEXPECTED PROBLEM HAS OCCURED."

That's the error I get after correctly entering a code I purchased from the bottle cap of a Mountain Dew bottle. 

Anyone have any more information on the error or an update as to why the code redemption isnt working right now?

To clarify: The codes can be redeemed before the game is out. This is clearly stated all over the www.rankupxp.com website.
