is stopping power built into the weapons.

Play hardcore and your issue is resolved.
... most likely like BO.
No, it was already stated the weapons are buffed up.
Buffed up compared to MW2...
Which was better for damage than black ops.
Have you even played both games? Kills are way faster in mw2 than BO with less hm. Be real. You argue for the sake of arguing, even when you are wrong.
It is nothing like Black Ops. Guns actually work in MW3. I felt that it wasn't quite like having Stpping Power. Not a 2 hit kill evrytime like MW2 but people were def dropping quicker than in BO.
You played at CoD XP? I could tell by the videos, especially from the PP90M1 or whatever it is called, big difference from black ops. i'm jealous.
Yes I did. Super fun. And yes,big difference. None of that unloading half a clip into someone only to have them turn completely around and kill you.
Well here's your proof. This bad ass
I'm so jealous of you.
As of now there isn't any clear evidence either way.
Personally I hope that they just set weapon damage just to match the style of play intended for the gun in question. I'd still issue the caveat that BO wasn't especially good at this. Only recently did they patch it so that sniper rifles could land lethal headshots even when silenced. Bearing that in mind I can't help but think that they haven't devoted a lot of thought into how powerful any given weapon should be.
There very much is, it was stated gun damage was beefed up and watch ANY gameplay footage and it's right before your eyes. Guns kill like the guns in MW2 with stopping power.
I'm glad they "booted" up the damage on the weapons. Its better than shooting BB guns like in Black Ops.
I agree 1000%, it's pretty obvious that guns work in this game.
I love more powerful weapons. Putting 2 mags into someone and having htem turn around and kill my ass is annoying as ****.
And is why I hate black ops, and hardcore is just OTT, with one bullet assault rifle kills.
eh I really doubt the damage is THAT much stronger. guns in both BO and MW2 did the same dmg range. ARs on average were 40-30 (weaker was30-20) SMGs were 30-20 (some were 40-20) and that's how it was in both games. SP didn't really do THAT much of a difference. bumping up dmg by 40% means guns killed faster by one bullet. Recoil is what made the difference.
rather I wish they lowered damage or made the damage range wider. 40 close for ARs 25 far. SMGs 30 close mid 20 far 15 and so forth.
...seriously
