Scavenger Should Be....

So I hear that Scavenger PRO simply starts you with extra mags.. GAY. This is stupid, it defeats the point of wearing Scavenger. I realize they are trying to phase out the people who would equip claymores and sit and use scavenger to rack up kills. But what is wrong with that? Anyway, here is my two cents; I think that the Scavenger Perk should benefit you when you walk over a dead body you can pick what THEY have left behind, whether it be ammo, a grenade, a throwing knife, claymore, EMP nades, stuns, or whatever. Obviously you can only carry X amount things(1 piece of equipment) anyway so its not like this would be an overpowering perk. I think it would be a great spin on things, you could be a diversified guy out there on the field and be able to use all different types of equipment with the same class, that is assuming you're getting kills and not getting killed... What do you all think about that?
I find that this could cause a little trouble due to the diversity of weapons and equipments used... But great idea man. I find this very interesting and although i do not think that scavenger is overpowered i like your idea. I just don't think they will do that.
Yea I think its probably too late to render any of their decisions for MW3, I was just curious to see what the community thought about that. I think it would be a relatively easy thing to work into the game. Back in the day SOCOM used to have it to where everytime you walked over a body you would pick up their remaining ammo/equipment. It was pretty radical.
That actually happens whem you use the same weapon as your opponent. But ammo is a MUST if you're a high-killstreaker. Sorry taht's just how things are.

Yea I know how the whole ammo resupply thing works.. But in MW3 there is only going to be one lethal slot for equipment, you are going to have to choose from a grenade/knife/claymore/etc.. What I am saying is that you should be able to resupply THOSE also. But it should be whatever your opponent was equipped with.. ya know.. and thanks for the input!!
Ohhh... that would be kind of cool.
It wouldn't be overpowering but it might not work with how the perk is coded to work...
... maybe an idea for the future.
I think that it would be cool if it did happen in the future. I think that it would make it a little more interesting..
I think in Tier 1 (MW3) it's well balanced and not pointless. At least for me personally, whether it was Bandolier in the early games or Scavenger in MW2, I always saw it as a valuable perk.
Especially, if you're rolling with a launcher (for air support) and have no back-up like a machine pistol or sidearm.
I think it could be interesting (for the pro perk) to let you have x2 equipment - still with no refills for equipment though.
Is it confirmed that Scavenger will only be resupplying ammunition? I am just concerned that it won't resupply the throwing knife.
That's what it ws in MW2 why would it be any different in MW3
I know 402 mentioned that GLs, if used on the enemy you pick up the bag from, then they will be replenished; we can only assume that things like equipment may have the same effect.
It also makes sense, everyone has bullets, but you can't just pick a throwing knife or a noob tube out of thin air can you?
agreed, part of eric the douches epic realism
I completely agree that scavenger pro is bogus. I havent ever seen the point in carrying extra bullets if you can just reaload of any dead body. I guess it is supposed to help people that are holding down an area and cant leave.
I really hope it doesn't resupply claymores and grenade launchers.
I think IW is just being lazy and "reskining" MW2 and adding a few things.
I like some of TAs ideas in BO.
like having eq and nades on to diffrent slots.
I dont really like having to choose between nades and a claymore.
I hope they dont nerf good perks like cold-blooded/ghost and scavenger for some game modes.
