Just thought i would share a video of the FAD in action, he picks it up at 0:36 and uses it a few times during the video:

it looks like a great gun and looks like another reason not to prestige since its unlocked at level 78
The FAD looks pretty beast to be honest.
I'm considering not to prestige for MW3 so I may be able to get some good use out of this gun. ![]()
Honestly, I don't really see any reason to prestige in this game at all because of weapon proficiencies. I mean, I'll probably do it once just for the 6th custom class, but beyond that, I'd rather have a bevy of upgraded weapons & perks than some silly ancillary rewards.
Agreed.
Back on MW2, I only prestiged twice due to the number of challenges, title/emblems. camos and attachments. It kept me running until Black Ops came out.
So with weapon proficiencies, the return of unlocking titles/emblems, camos and attachments, I've got alot to achieve.
I'd say extra custom classes is the biggest reason to prestige.
Now that you can set different killstreak loadouts to each class, I really don't think 5 custom classes will be enough in this game..
As for the FAD, looks decent from that footage, as does the ACR ![]()
I think 6 classes is more than enough. By the time someone gets to 10th prestige, I'll already have most weapons leveled to 30 (which I believe is the level cap) because I stopped at 1st prestige. Unless I'm missing something else, I really can't see the point in prestiging.
i cant belive people who dont prestige thats all part of the fun leveling up being promoted you lot sound like a friend of mine who has never prestiged in any cod game just because he cant play that good with the starter guns
Prestige is a choice, no a gauge of skill -- prestiging requires nothing more than time played & people need to stop acting like there's more to it. Now, I was 10th in cod4; I only have like 3 or 4 days in WaW so I'm only 3rd there; I was 9th in MW2; and 15th in Black Ops. However, like I've already said, I see no reason to prestige more than once in MW3. I'd rather spend my time upgrading my perks & every weapon in the game than I would grinding though 80 levels 11 times. Furthermore, I'd rather have every available pointstreak at my disposal at all times instead of having to unlock those too (remember, it'll be like MW2, not BO, so PSRs will be unlocked at intervals, not all once & then just bought w/ CP).
i never said prestiging was a show of skill im a avarage play who puts the time in to rank up.
You didn't use those exact words, but you most definately alluded to it when you said "you lot sound like a friend of mine who has never prestiged in any cod game because he can't play that [well] with the starter guns."
You remind me of those kids that send hate messages just because a player doesn't want to prestige.
I never prestiged in COD4, WAW and only prestiged twice in MW2.
Black Ops challenge system bored me so I ended up prestiging 14 times.
But now that there are extra challenges for players who don't feel like prestiging, I don't see the point unless you want extra custom classes and a "shiny" badge.
ive never sent anyone a message because they havent prestiged its there choice at the end of the day
well, the max level is 80, not X prestige. some people get fun out of ranking up, some get fun by doing challenges and people like me have fun playing the game.
Anyone else hear GlaDOS in that video?
I did ![]()
Yea... and when he picked it up, he unleashed his fury on everyone in his path. You can tell he plays alot lol.
