RPG triple kill Challenge question........clarification needed

I was under the impression that this challenge could be completed by obtaining two kills with a gun, and then quickly switch to the RPG and get your third kill with that.  I have seen a few people say they used this method on these forums and have seen youtube footage of this being done, and the challenge being completed.  However, i obtained several triple kill medals on nuketown this weekend doing it this way, 2 in one game at one point, but didnt unlock the acheivement... Has anything changed regards this or was i previously mis-informed????!!!!

    Yes I think they address this in the latest 1.07 patch have to get all 3 with the RPG now

      DAAAAMN!!!! I was hoping you wouldnt say that!  I just cant seem to get triple kills with it, oh well i'll keep trying then! Thanks for the answer

        How i got it.....play ground war...domination....(9v9).....run straight to B,throw some smoke when running there,Fire and hope theres 3 people there!

          my trouble is that during the heat of the moment i always forget to use the damn thing!! or when i do, everyone seems to be using a flak jacket!! haha

            Demolition is another good one. If it's on Nuketown or Hijacked, just guard A via the campers perch (Windows, 2nd floor). Players always seem to crowd around the bomb site all the time.

    I got mine on Nuketown playing Demolition as an attacker.  At the beginning of a round there are always a bunch of guys rushing out of the garage where the B-Bomb site is.  Just wait till you see one guy appear then shoot into the garage. Ive actually done this a few times this way

         I know it seems impossible, but just keep trying.  Fire blindly into high traffic areas, you'll get it eventually.

     

        The smoke on Domination is good advice too.  If you don't want to guess, run tactician and use smoke/sensor grenade.

    play HQ and just wait till an HQ is in a small room and fire away lol.

    You do not need to kill three people at once mate there is a slight time delay between kills. I got mine with a double kill had time to reload then got another kill straight away giving me a triple kill.

    thanks for all the responses, some good advice which i will try out.  It seems so easy in principle, its just so frustrating!  i guess i'm just unlucky haha!!!

    Objective based games modes are difficult to get this award because a lot of people run flak jacket. i say play ground war and wait for tdm or kc then equip warthog if you can get it. every time i get it the entire enemy team decides to camp in one room. so just fire away and hope for the best.
