Thank god this will be my last Dub XP weekend

Ok I am at 10th 40 now, by tommorrow evening I should be <or pretty close to> Master>.

After the horrors that have been Double XP weekend, I will be so pleased to never ever have to do another in  any cod game < I am not going to be getting the next installment>.

 

Sorry for the rant but with all the boosting and monster lagfests this weekend, it reminded me why I quit MW2 <and traded MW3 in early> .

        this post is just another "im annoyed with BLOPS2 and won't be buying another CoD game.

          Not an ignorant prick, everyone has had issues with blops2, if they have played from day 1.Anyone who says otherwise is a liar.whose the prick?

            I've had the game since day 1, I just hit master prestige, I am two guns away from having all of them diamond and I have 12 days played. I have obviously been playing enough. I have a decent, basic cable connection, and I have never had issues to where I had an actual problem playing. Sure, lag exists, and it CANNOT, I repeat, CANNOT, and WILL NOT ever be gotten rid of.

             

            The majority of you whining ******** are just bad at the game and can't take getting beat. Just because you USED to be good at the other games, DOES NOT mean you will be good at this game.

             

            If you don't like the game, stop playing it. If you want a perfect game, get off your ass and go design it yourself and stop your whining.

              whats your definition of decent? im on a wifi connection thats not even supposed to be used for xbox live and even i experience the BS of BO2 lag comp

                I play on a wifi connection also, and I go through comcast, which is pretty much average internet.

                Wow. You guys just getting the bad end of the day? I've been getting into ok/good games u til the hosts drop because they're mad they have no skills....kind of sad especially when they have the advantage of seeing the enemies first. Scrubs and no0bs! Good day all!

    Had a wonderful Saturday of 2xp. Was at 35 top 3 finishes in HQ and got the 50 top 3 finishes tag in prob 16 or 17 games. Thought this game had turned for me as my LMG classes seemed to be mowing people down. I was a beast. But today I am terrible.  Lucky to break even and shooting people before they shoot me only seems to enrage them, as they are generally drop me in 2 or 3 bullets.

     

    Better than most 2xp weekends though. At least I had one decent day.

    This 2-XP weekend has been a nightmare, particularly today. Soo much lag; it's like the devs wait until EVERYONE is online to **** with the net code. Lagging like you would NOT believe.

     

    My patience has just about run out as well. I am overall very disappointed in this game; I loved the first Black Ops, and fully expected Treyarch to deliver again. However, thanks to the scum bags at Activision, we were ALL let down.

      How can the game be broken if it plays fine for many of us? I think its your internet and tv, not the game. I moved my xbox to my room and it was super laggy cause my tv settings where jacked. I never had problems on my other tv.

        It plays fine for those who have subpar or worse Internet. I run on 30-40 ms ping, with 5-6 down and .72 up. Yet I have games as bad as people quite literally materializing in front of me.

         

        People with BAD connections should be punished.

    lol I must be missing something, why is double xp worst than normal xp? I swear people in this community are nuts... It's not any more/less laggy than it has been. Jesus.

    Ah yes the usual suspects with the same garbage show up whenever anyone mentions the connectivity/matchmaking issues <and ignoring the boosters I mentioned>.

     

    Its clearly just a figment of our imagination, the fact the whole weekend has been continental lobbies for me and that only occassionalkly would I get a UK lobby is all in my mind and its just my internet etc etc etc.

     

    Whether the fanboys accept it or not this weekend has been a nightmare for many folks and I for one will soon be past it, sorry if my lottle rant offended the Fanboy codfathers of the forum, however reality is what it is.

    I personally hate dbl xp. My theory is that naturally you have more ppl playing which means that more ppl are screwing around with there connections.

    I had no problems over the weekend. In fact, the only problems I've had have started since this morning.

     

    Still, worst CoD game since CoD3, by some distance.

     

    Bravo 3arc.
