Obviously, the developers don't want to hear about this freezing problem anymore

Same pattern every match now. Play one match (no announcer or voice over during match...just bullet fire). Then when match finishes, screen goes black with those numbers at the top right of the screen and can't use controller or PS button. I have to hard-restart machine every time which, I am sure, is killing my PS3 slowly. All of the revenue these guys get for developing problem free gaming experience is obviously not gone into research and development but in causing pain, suffering and financial stress of their clientele that supports their bank accounts. Really let down. Most gamers can't afford their products yet they still shell out the money to purchase their games and DLCs. Really should be expecting a BIG compensation from them.

Whenever I add a reply or comment on an existing thread, it won't let me or says that thread is frozen so, obviously, it's being swept under the rug and no answers are being given.  Very shady.

Of course they don't want to hear about it.

Imagine yourself putting almost two years of work into something, only for it to get to the public with a serious issue which you had no idea how to fix... easy way out... deny it happens and say it's never happened to you.

That was obvious when they took the sticky thread down.

At this point it doesn't look good. A couple of patches for PS3 and they still have not addressed this issue.

They are busy nurffing guns and promoting their DLC, no time to fix major issues. I love COD, but this will be the last game I ever buy from Treyarch. Lost respect for the company.

I wouldn't hold my breath. I haven't had any in a while. Though I see a lot are, consistently. People are having it happen during different times/operations

I downloaded the Skyrim DLC and I can't go an hour without massive frame rate drops followed by a full system lock up. I had the same issues with NCAA 13 (ended up selling it a week later). My guess is that there's a porting issue because Sony exclusives never have this problem. Only cross platform games have been doing this

My PS3 (fat and old version) didn't freeze once during a year of W@W and a year of MW2.  The day Black Ops went in, it froze.  I had repeated freezes for months.  MW3, a whole year of no freezes.  The day BO2 went in it freezes.  I've not had as many freezes with BO2 as I did with BO1, but enough to be annoying.  Not had any with the game itself recently, but Elite froze twice yesterday.

I had to finally send my ps3 in to get fixed lucky I had it under warranty still, I can honestly say this is the first game I have had to tear it up.numerous call to Sony, and activision got me nowhere.System was only 6 months old.Cant wait to see if they really fixed it when it gets back. But they really need to fix this as its bs to have a 6 month system go haywire due to me putting money in there pocket and have a game I can't even play freeze up and then get probation for it as well.
