Lag Compensation Taking Its Toll (not the average rant)

So, Ive never EVER made a single negative post about this game or previous titles, but this whole lag compensation ordeal is starting to get to me, and it's not even lag compensation entirely that's the problem. I was playing a game earlier, which I just so happened to be recording, in which I was forced out of a VTOL(how does that even happen?), host migrated in the middle of an awesome game and actually given host, only to have it ripped away from me by another random host migration for no reason.     It's a valid complaint.  It's painfully obvious the game game has indie quality networking.

    It's nice to see someone raising awareness about REAL issues and not crying about OP weapons. The lag is really getting on my nerves, especially after the map pack release.

      Ive tried being as optimistic as humanly possible throughout this entire release, but when these things are constantly happening and youre always drawing the short end of the stick, I think it one way or another has be be known. They have to know that issues exist, the only thing is whether or not they are capable of implementing a fix or not?

    I wish the game had servers so the host migration problems will be solved. I see 2-4 host migrations each match.

    Seems like the game was searching for a good host and you were not it. The game doesnt care if you are doing well (of course you are going to be doing well, you have the advantage in every face to face battle when hosting) it cares how well the room is doing with you as the host. If people are lagging out and disconnecting (and not dashing) then you are obviously not going to stay the host for very long.

      If that was the case then I could understand, but there wasn't a single problem with anyones connection while I had host. In fact, I always usually have a really good host when I do actually get it. It's just mind boggling sometimes

        Your video really doesnt reflect that one way or the other. I saw one guy D/C, either by dashing or it could have been a legit connection lost.

    yep I understand totally constant switching hosts followed by constantly putting bullets into someone first just to get killed by them, really lag or what bullet registration is bad too, todays games for me have been terrible im done with it for today maybe tomorrow lol
