There are weapons available to use other than the PDW.

 

How about another SMG? Or maybe venture into the assault rifles and give one a go.

 

No one likes a one-trick pony.

      That's the point, almost everyone sucks with it...

       

      They need to 50 round mag to kill anything.

        I have a bone to pick with you Mr. you deleted me off PSN ~shakes fist~ lmao nah just kidding. i only used the PDW because im trying to get my smg's diamond is all. my preferred gun of choice is actually the ballista lol. but havent used snipers in a while now but will def go back to them

          On topic:

           

          I am never sure why people get upset about only seeing 1 gun used.  Funny, I hated the PDW and I was so happy when I got it gold so I could stop using it.

    I really don't like the pdw, can't seem to by a kill with it. I tried it with fmj etc and no better. It was so bad that I actually stopped trying to level it up. I switched to the type 25, maybe i'll try the pdw again later.

    I'll kill you with whichever gun I choose.

     

    The stats on the gun aren't so impressive either. Gets dominated by all other SMGs at close range too.

    I think if everyone stopped using it, someone would complain about the NEXT overused gun.

     

    Personally, I use all guns (but I am not a fan of LMGs)

        My favorite smg is actually the chicom , but it is so reliant on a great lobby connection that I only get to use it every fifth lobby I am in. The pdw is best because of the spray and pray crowd and while pre patch it was in my top two I now like the vector a lot more.

          Not really had a game since the patch so not noticed.Have they really nerfed it?

    the PDW has a real cheesy reload animation, and overall i think the gun is ugly.  it may have a huge magazine but dang is it stupid looking.  I may be a moron for thinking this way but some guns i don't even use unless going for challenges because of the appearance like the MTAR and PDW

      Haha. I've caught myself thinking that a few times. "Damn, that's ugly as hell!". Since the MTAR and the SMR are my last two AR's to max, I've kind of grown to like the MTAR. Before that, I never used it and wished it had a "Paper bag" attachment!

    But hey, let them use what they want. I use my M27, its become my third arm in the game ~ when the game allows me to play/

    Chicom w/Suppressor, quickdraw and select fire is awesome. I would rather see people running around with the PDW than something like a remington or a target finder on a FAL or LMG

      Although the TF is a crutch, the LMG's require a certain play style to be successful with and that attachment makes up for terrible movement and ADS time. The FAL is used a lot but it really doesn't bother me. The SMR is a head shot machine compared to the FAL which, for some reason, I don't see people crying about. Weird.

    The PDW is probably the easiest weapon to use in BO2.  Not necessarily the best, but the easiest: run toward enemy, fire in general direction of enemy, if enemy is not dead continue firing until either you or they have died.  Rinse, repeat.

     

    When you're going up against a lot of PDW users, it's really not a big deal.  Same as always, it's not who can fire the most shots, it's who can get the hits faster...the PDW has an edge in having that huge magazine, but it's a low fire rate weapon with relatively low damage.  The only scenario where it would be the de facto best weapon to have is when you've just flanked four or more oblivious enemies; in any other gunfight, it's going to be at a disadvantage against at least some other guns.

     

    One nice thing about so many people carrying PDWs is that it makes it relatively easy for me to upgrade my secondary on my LMG & sniper classes.

    I personally prefer the vector over all smg's but I do like the pdw as well but my main class is vector if I was to use one class over and over.  My strategy is simple and acceptable when it comes to trying new guns.  I will use the new gun class in the beginning and if things dont go my way I will switch to my "f**k sh** up" class and end the game with that to try to keep my spm, k/d, and w/l up.

    My favourite SMG is the Skorpion Evo. It has the fastest TTK of any SMG at close range and the vast majority of engagements in this game are close quarters.

    Did you know....? That you didn't buy the game for'em and they can use whatever it is they wanna use? 98% of the community needs to stop crying about "what killed them".

    If it takes you more then half of your pdw clip to kill 1 person, I think you should stick with that gun.

    Yeah, it's the 50 round clip...saves you a point for something else. I've been using the MP7 alot more than any other gun, it looks better than the diamond PDW and 10 less bullets isn't a big deal. I don't use any other attachment than the silencer, 40 bullets can go a long way if you're accurate.

    I stopped using it when I maxed it and got the gold camo for it. There are so many better guns than this one. I blame Youtubers and Twitchers.
